Found this awesome place by chance when waiting for the ferry. Good coffee, friendly staffs and awesome food, eating outside on the balcony is an extra free bonus.Definitely will come back!

Bruny Island Gateway Cafe
Stopped by for coffee before boarding the ferry. All the coffees were made with care and it tasted pretty good. Got myself a cappuccino and enjoyed it outside.The cafe had a little souvenir section at one end should you wish to get something to remember your trip by.

Nice coffee but I thought the milk to coffee ratio was bad, too milky for my taste. Also as this is right after the bruny island ferry, the cafe gets smashed right after a ferry comes past so probably a better bet to find another down the road!

We arrived early for the Ferry and had some time to kill. The staff were lovely and the Chai Latte coupled with the views made for an fantastic experience. Highly recommend adding a visit before boarding the Ferry.

Excellent service, staff is very nice & welcoming. Food and coffee was delicious !! Loved that they had a vegan pastie. View is nice too!

Bruny Island Gateway Cafe
Surprisingly good coffee for a roadside stop while waiting for the ferry. It’s really just a gift shop and small cafe, so manage your expectations; but the view is spectacular, for food and coffee good and it’s all you have if you are waiting for the ferry! Staff were nice although a little junior and although it was raining on the day we visited, it would be spectacular on a sunny day.
