Penrith Selective High School

Going to this school has been an... experience. It's good if you're extremely competitive and can take the constant pressure of topping your grade in exams and massive amounts of homework, but if you're not mentally prepared for that please don't subject yourself to it. I am a student with anxiety who has suffered from the intense competitive atmosphere and the most support I have received is from some particularly kind teachers. Penrith certainly has its good points, but for someone with poor mental health or a non-competitive mindset it is quite difficult.

so like i wanna move schools since im getting physically bullied at my school right now just because Of my interests on anime and Genshin, CRK, a few other games and my social anxiety. but like im terrified if i get bullied here for the same so yea

the rooms didnt have any beds, only chairs. 4/5, best hotel i've stayed in.

Penrith Selective High School is a beautiful school. As a student, I can say that learning here is fun and educational at the same time, thanks to the excellent knowledge of the teachers. Application of practical tasks further make learning challenging and fun. Making friends here is very easy, and I really don't realise when time goes from 9 to 3:20!

most teachers here are very friendly and more than willing to help students in need, i've had a great experience with them. unfortunately, the school lacks multicultural diversity and if you aren't part of the predominant ethnicity here... then prepare to be excluded socially. i've been here for several years now, and it's not a fun experience when you get ignored, condescended, and thrown aside like a nobody by other students just because you don't look the same as everyone else. whether this school is fit for you or not depends on your priorities in your schooling life - if you're not concerned about making friends but want to get a high atar, then this is the place for you (as the quality of education here is exceptional, the average atar here currently sits at around 92).

All they care about is getting your child a high atar so their aggregate looks better in the atar rankings. If you want your child to succeed in life not just atar I recommend a different school.
