One of the best parks we've stayed in Tassie. We had an awesome stay! The staff are super helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can. Brand new amenities with a beautiful hot showers were fantastic after a busy day of exploring.

We had a terrific stay for 5 nights. Our City View villa was very clean and where else could you look out your kitchen window and see sheep, birds and horses while being only minutes away from Launceston. The complimentary Cripps shortbread were so nice that we ate the whole box and then went down to Cripps bakery and brought 10 packets to take home to WA. - bit naughty that. Next time we are in Tassie will definitely be booking Cabin 2 again. Thanks again for a great stay. Jill and Tony Wales WA.

Stayed here with my family a few weeks ago. Firstly, this is a great location, being only a few minutes drive to the centre of Launceston, which is most convenient. We stayed in a family cabin. Although the cabin was slightly dated, everything was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of room for us and our two boys, who loved the bunk beds. The grounds were neat and tidy, and the staff were very helpful. We checked in very late, almost 10pm but they were more than accommodating. We had a great nights sleep and didn't have any trouble with the traffic noise as other posters have mentioned. All in all, this park represents fantastic value for family accommodation and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone travelling to Launceston.

This park is very conveniently located near to many of the places one would want to visit whilst in Launceston. The park is clearly under renovation with the amenities all looking new and well maintained. Lots of new cabins as well. Grounds and sites are a little sparse, it would be nice to have solid stands given the wet conditions which may occur from time to time. The staff are friendly and happy to recommend local attractions etc. (Thanks to 'Fabulous Phibe'). Once all renovations are complete this park will be equal to many of the other Big 4 Parks we have stayed at. Perhaps the only downside for me is that it is located next to a busy motorway but it is a compromise if one wants to be near to places of interest.

$45 AUD for an electric plug and water tap. It's the most expensive park we found and it has nothing special. The place is not even finished so you basically get a spot in a construction site.Their website advertised $35 per night on non-peak seasons, but once in the place they also decided that this price was only for the third night. Most customers unterstand that's the reasoning"

We are on a two week holiday driving around tassie and we stayed here on a powered site on two occasions and will probably stay another night before our trip is done. The facilities are amazing and the service was great, the only downside is the noise from the highway.

DON'T GO THERE... Travelling Victorian looking for amenities facilities as advertised on Big 4 Launceston website. Called regarding paying to use the amenities and Was refused. Never have I ever had a caravan park refuse a paying guest because I wouldn't be staying due to catching a flight later in the day. DISCUSSED ........... Even an unpowered site option was flatly refused. Not booked out either

Nice clean park, pity about the site we got which was in the so called scenic section which is just about as far as you can get from the camp kitchen perched on the side of the hill in an awful spot. The camp kitchen was clean and well equipped as was the amenities blocks.

This place is close to EVERYTHING! The city a day the airport #winningStaff were amazing and friendly couldn't do enough for us (even lent me pegs for the washing!) As with many reviews, this park is undergoing major renos. My kids can't wait to come back when the water park and the zip line are installed! But for now.. it has a quaint playground with 2 swings a climbing thing and bouncing pillows. But WHO CARES the idea is to see stuff and get out and do, our kids are 7 and 9 and liked the chance to get out and run around with other kids up the top, check out the view up there too.Good job big 4, see you in a few years
