Tambo Caravan Park

Lovely caravan park. As we arrived the lady came to help us park our caravan on our site and that was a great help with a long van. The amenities and camp kitchen are absolutely spotless. I would definitely recommend this caravan park.

A fantastic park with new amenities and camp kitchen. First class in all regards and only a 5 minute walk to the famous Tambo Chook Races/pub. Sites are flat and large, plenty of room for all. Tanya is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

After 10000km, we arrived at Tambo. This was the cleanest, friendliest spot we stayed. Amenities were amazing and cleanliness impeccable. Camp kitchen best we’d seen. Owners were lovely and accommodating, fire in communal space lit and well maintained. They even offered us a lift to the pub for the chicken races!

Tanya and Cliff have completely revived this park. Best shower I’ve had in weeks (love a bath mat supplied).Everything beautifully clean and hosts can’t do enough for you. We were going to stay for one night but upped it to 3 to enjoy the facilities and the lovely little town.

The man at reception was rude to the point of nasty, and 930pm when we called as we broke down, in the middle of explaining our situation he hung up. Not recommended, should not be in the hospitality-tourism industry!! He Complained to about being up since 2am and then hung up how disgusting!!

Beautiful green grassy sites, wonderful amenities, and Tanya was so very helpful. We will definitely be back again!!!

My husband and I stayed for two nights and were made to feel welcome from the moment we rolled in. Tanya was an amazing host!! She helped us choose the best spot for our rig, gave us a mini tour of the facilities (camp kitchen, rest rooms and laundry) and told us about the latest happenings in town. As the new owners of this park, it's obvious how much they care for Country, their work, their patrons and their role in their community. The park was absolutely spotless as were the amenities and camp kitchen. It's such a pleasure to support regional business and more importantly, the legendary people behind them. Thank you Tanya and team for a lovely stay and such a warm welcome - we will be sure to visit again the next time we're in town! :)
