Rude dishonest poor workmanship

John and his team done a fantastic job on my old quartz pool from start to finish,i highly recommend them,im glad I didn't go with the other company even though they were cheaper, you get what you pay for.

I needed a large rust repair and complete repainting of my swimming pool to a different colour:Rob,the smooth talking sales agent responded quickly and gave a reasonable quote, he immediately signed me up and requested a 10% deposit. John the boss came out to show me the colours and inserted a hose to drain the pool.…. I told him I was going away for a month on 3rd May and could he assure me that it would be finished before I left…. No problem I was assured. I never saw either of them again;They simply outsourced the job.The actual workman Wayne did an excellent job, finishing 3 days before I left.. But I was infuriated to discover that they actually did nothing themselves ..Wayne then informed me that the pool could not be filled before I went away, it had to be “cured” … which took 15 days.This was a shock but on Tuesday the 4th May I paid the progress payment ( three days late ) I explained that this was because the 1st was a Saturday and I was travelling on the 3rd. I received an extremely rude email from John demanding the final payment immediately, saying I had breached the contract terms.I was shocked at this attitude and replied that I would pay when I got back and could see the pool filled with water. I was told that was not their job and if I did not pay them within 7 days they would set debt collectors onto me.. I paid up but did not receive any acknowledgment of my final payment.I told them I was nearly 80 but they didn’t offer to clean and fill it for me. So I came back to a dirty, partially rain filled mess which I now have to empty, clean and fill myself.I hope as many people as possible see this and ring around to find Wayne the contractor to do the job ( much cheaper ) and bypass those two nasty rude greedy pair.

John and his team performed a pool conversion of our in-ground salt water pool into a natural pool.This is not a straight forward process and has to be catered to the individual circumstances and requirements.The team was highly skilled and very professional throughout the entire process and I would have no hesitation to recommend John's services.

We should have been alerted at the start that this company would not be reliable. We had to contact them three times to get them to come and give us a quote to repaint our pool. They do not reply to emails nor return phone calls. The salesman who came out was very good and helpful with suggestions. It stopped there. We paid a deposit in early July and was told our pool renovation would begin on 24th August, so we arranged time off work to be here. It did not start on that date. Five weeks later after much chasing, they did the job. We had the coping replaced with Luxa Pool coping which is painted onto a cement layer. Unfortunately, the contractor slopped cement into the pool and on the steps of the pool. This would have been fine if he had taken the trouble to scrape it off before it set. He then painted the pool steps and surface over these sharp pieces of cement, leaving protrusions that hurt when you walk on them. We only noticed this after the seven days of curing required before you can walk in the pool. I contacted the company and the contractor came back and was very obviously displeased at having to return. He sanded some of the protrusions in a hurry, and then slopped paint over some of them. We were left with unsightly abrasions on three of the steps and the shallow end of the pool. After many messages, John the owner came to inspect the pool a week later at our request, and agreed that those areas needed to be repainted. This was 30th October. It took three more phone calls over a two week period to get a different contractor out who came on November 19th. The new contractor was excellent and very pleasant. He was shocked at the state at which the pool had been left. So today, four months after the deposit was paid, and three months after the promised start date, we are able to fill the pool. Before we can do that however, we have two months worth of rain water and rotting leaves to contend with. We just hope the chlorine will clear away the stains from the rotting leaves. Very happy with Poolpainters. They arrived when they promised and did a great job in retiling and painting my pool.

John should be ashamed of himself ! Promising the world , delivering an atlas . Poor workmanship and god forbid if they would return phone calls, John has not not returned calls for several months as the job needs to be redone ! Don’t ever use these guys if there was an option for minus 5 stars thats what they would get

Re-painted my pool which looked great until it started cracking inside of a month now peeling and cracking everywhere. Have chased them for 18 months with not one person ever coming to take a look and replies often never even come. Save yourself the heartache and do not use couldn’t be more upset at the waste of money and pool that is no better.

Pool painters were fantastic. From start to finish on my old concrete pool. Quality work has made my pool look brand new. Highly recommend

The guy who did the job was lovely but unfortunately it’s been a year since the job was done and the pool is flaking and after several attempts of contacting them, We’re still waiting.
