Budget Car & Truck Rental Albury

Do not use this company. I returned a truck with the fuel gauge past the full line and they clamed it was not full enough and had to be past full to the point of almost spilling out of the tank. I was charged $60 for 12 litres of fuel! They also under charged me by accident of $20 and then took it from the bond without consulting me first. I was not refunded anything and was told it was policy and to bad. Straight up dodgy.

I booked through Airport Rentals. I told Budget that I did not require excess insurance. They charged me $49.10 then Buget charged me $235.88 for a small VW Polo for 24 hours the back seat had rubbish on it. Would not recommend.

Hired truck for four days. Really friendly helpful service. Truck ran excellently. Price was on point, especially if driving long kilometres. Highly recommend these people.

Booked a truck a month out got told 4 days before booking that size wasn’t available.They were kind enough to give me a couple of days free for the smaller size

Unwelcoming and unfriendly staff. The girls need some basic customer service skills. I hired a vehicle for three days and looked after it as if it was my own. Disappointed as I’ve always has great service from Budget in the past.

DO NOT RECOMMEND- I had to extend my booking as I got covid and was overcharged an extra $2000 than what I was quoted on the phone with no explanation. Budget customer service have been unhelpful. I have been trying to get to the bottom of the issue and have had to escalate the issue through ACCC and APIA. It’s been nearly 6 months. Will never rent a car through Budget ever again.Further update: they admitted to overcharging my credit card and I was given a refund almost 7 months later. It was only after APIA were involved that they bothered to properly look into their idiotic mistake and give me my money back. The fact that they can just charge your credit card without consent is ludicrous.

Overcharged from original quote and didn't Refund all bond without any email or messages detailing why. pour service and very Unprofessional.

I rented through Budget/Avis in Albury for over 6 months straight through the COVID-19 issues while stuck in Australia. Great team who were all very professional, friendly and helpful. We felt very taken care of. Thanks all !!! Car was great too of course.

Good pricing for car and truck hire. Customer service is efficient and polite. Vehicles are well maintained and clean. Close to the airport for those flying in to Albury. Pricing is really reasonable for cars and trucks. Recommend this place even if you need a Ute or truck to get rid of rubbish or a truck to move house.

My company I work for use Budget alot . Awesome staff to help with all our needs. From cars trucks and mine compliant vehicles. Highly recommended and will continue using Budget.
