Prolonged delivery, and when the furniture arrived it was unpacked and had some scratches. I did not accept it, the delivery man said to me to call them and they will send someone to repair the scratches. I did not accept the furniture and they took them back with them. I couldn't believe it, I did not expect this. They tried to sell me display furniture.

One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The initial service in the Preston store was fine, and I was helped to find a couch and ottoman. I paid my deposit and left the store, both the person helping me and my receipt stated that the lead time was 19-21 weeks. 21 weeks later I decided to contact the head office at Berkowitz, for them to tell me that the couch would not be delivered for another 7 weeks. I had absolutely no communication from Berkowitz about the delay however Helen from head office offered an apology. Finally the day came that my couch was delivered. I had ordered the couch and ottoman to match both in fabric and leg colour. The ottoman that arrived was a completely different style to what I had ordered. When I called the Preston store to discuss the issue, the store manager, Anthony, offered one halfhearted apology at the end of the conversation however could not give me a timeframe for the arrival of the correct ottoman nor did he offer any type of compensation or reason for the complete disaster that had occurred throughout the process. Needless to say, I will never be purchasing anything from Berkowitz again and I have already advised friends and colleagues to avoid the store at all costs, which I also hope anyone who reads this does as well.

A belated thankyou to Michael at the Preston store. Thankyou so much for your patience when you assisted my husband and I with choosing our chairs. We eventually ordered 8 chairs. When we received them there was one faulty chair and Michael was so kind and quickly resolved the problem. We were so grateful and left very happy. I look forward to buying more furniture from Michael at Preston in the future.

This is a review for the store & staff, not the furniture. I'll try to remember to write a review of the couches after I have them for a while.I spontaneously walked in between jobs on a Wednesday, it wasn't a planned visit. We had been looking for couches & was unsure exactly what we were after. Anthony was extremely helpful & pleasant. He made some suggestions, gave some advice & gave me space when I needed it to browse & think & talk on the phone with the better half. He was supportive & helpful without being pushy at all.We eventually bought from the DFO Essendon store were David was also extremely helpful without the pushiness, and full kudos to him, he gave the credit for the sale to Anthony who did deserve it.I'd recommend both stores as well as both sales people making the process so much easier than it could have been, it fact, than it was with other places we looked in.Let's hope the couches meet the same standard.

My wife and I were looking to update our furniture and Anthony Carlucci, from Berkowitz Preston, couldn't have been more helpful. Anthonys advice and guidance, made us feel confident that we made the right choices. The quality and design of the furniture we chose was second to none compared to MANY other furniture shops we visited. There was no pressure selling tactics, Anthonys friendly nature made us feel comfortable and at ease. Highly recommended Berkowitz Furniture and there professional staff.

Very nice products and great service.

Good service in the preston store. I have had two custom duke chairs delivered with wood arms one has a dint in the arm and the floating leaver is bent and the rubber on the leaver has a hole in it. Very poor for a $2500k chair. I contacted and emailed store the day of delivery, they said it would be followed up. It's now been 5 weeks.. no contact

Worst experience. Never going there again. Pushy sales person following us around the store. Arrogant with attitude. Not many customers and I can see why. Oz design around the corner gave fantastic service best you go there.
