Absolutely wonderful experience. Lana took the most amazing pictures of my family. 2 difficult dogs and 2 toddlers but she managed to capture genuine moments and somehow made each moment look magical in a studio setting.I would highly recommend and will be using Lana for all pictures in the future.I was astounded to see any negative reviews. After reading the negative reviews, I’ve found them to be misleading and realised it was just a bunch of people wanting something for free. This is a professional service with a VERY reasonable professional fee.Thanks Lana!

Lana and the team are absolutely amazing how she was able to capture the photos of our toddler is beyond me but every single one turned out absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for capturing our special moment as a new family of 4, we will treasure these photos forever!

I won a voucher for a photoshoot and at first I was very nervous, however our photographer Caity was so supportive and made us feel so comfortable through the whole process from organising at the start, to the very end at collection. When we arrived at our viewing we were offered drinks and were set up with a lovely little platter. Our whole experience with action studio and especially our photographer Caity was wonderful and we will definitely recommend them to our family and friends. My daughter won her first photoshoot at 6 months old. Throughout our experience we got the pleasure of working with both Lana and Caity.Upon arrival for either session, you are greeted with platters, tea and coffee. It's a welcoming, open, beautiful space that you are welcomed into with open arms.Lana was our photographer and having never been in front of the camera, she had my husband and I relaxed in no time. Bub loved showing off for Lana, and absolutely smashed it out of the park.Caity took us through our photo selection process and worked with us to figure out what would best suit us. We ended up going 12 single prints we can frame ourselves. This pack also included ALL photos from our shoot so we didn't miss out on any, making the process much easier.These women captured the essence of our new little family, and I am so grateful I'll always have such a special time to reflect back on.Now the hard part begins... Where to hang?

Disappointing. It seems from recent reviews Action Studios are still pulling the same competition-draw scam they were 4 years ago when I was scammed by them. They did the free" shoot for me and offered no disclosure of how outrageously overpriced purchasing even one photo was. Having to speak up now 4 years later because the experience was traumatic and I felt taken advantage of. Photoshoot experience itself was friendly and enjoyable but be very wary of spending your money with this company as they exercise a dodgy

Super disappointed,My family and I won the free photoshoot and went along. We had a great time, Lana is lovey! You’re welcomed with cookies cakes and drinks.I have no doubt the photos would have turned out amazing.My issue is they pretty much tell you how you will enjoy your photos… we wanted only digital images as having prints doesn’t suit us at the moment and paying 2 thousand dollars for a photo album that will be put away is such a waste.We wanted the images so that we could do what we wanted with them when we were ready.They pretty much refused to give digital copies unless you purchased the printed version framed etc. The prints are SUPER expensive one canvas is $800….so one print and one of that same photo on digital is insane for pricing…It’s a shame they won’t let you enjoy your photos how you would like. I understand they have to make money but there has to be some give and take.A complete waste of everyone’s time….

I had a shoot done at the end of 2019 it started out fine and the photos are nice but not worth the price. I ordered the coffee table book and asked that it be put together from the family friendly photos to the ones that where just for me, it wasn’t done, any editing of the photos that I asked to be done also wasn’t done, they couldn’t even be bothered to remove the black fluff off the white sheet. As I said the shoot was fun. We also set up a payment plan as I said the photos where really over priced. We set it for a date so that the money would be in ready and they kept trying to take it early, don’t listen to the customer properly or go over what isn’t included.

EDIT- I had a particularly bad experience with this company years ago (2015). Lana, the new owner reached out to me in an attempt to reconcile what had happened in the past. Lana listened to my concerns and showed incredible compassion, especially for someone who has had a barrage of attacks from strangers online. For anyone reading this, I suggest you give her the time of day should she reach out to you, and show the empathy she is so willing to show disgruntled customers such as myself. I wish Lana nothing but the best with her business.
