This is such a good yoga school that I've been coming here since about 2005. Classes are targeted at different levels, and then Gary further tailors the class to the abilities of the students within it. The focus on breathing and working each part of your body means you leave feeling relaxed and so much better than when you arrived. At the same time, this yoga form builds strength and stamina, along with flexibility. A mix of women and men come to classes, demonstrating the appeal of the school and Gary's teaching ability. Highly recommended.

As I had never tried yoga before I found Deepti to be a very thoughtful and patient teacher. Deepti asks and listens to what we want from the class, I highly recommend Deepti as a teacher for beginners and experienced yoga students

Gary is an experienced teacher who follows his lineage with honesty and integrity. Hatha Yoga Shala is an excellent studio for those seeking guidance in genuine yoga practice without all the jargon and fads.
