I cannot speak more highly enough of this business. We had multiple electricians quote our work and Josh was easily the best from day 1. The job was fairly large. Josh and his team were awesome. They took a genuine interest in what we were trying to achieve. They were on time every day. They communicated with us promptly and they did an fantastic job. We will be using Lighting Up Melbourne for any job that comes up in the future. Absolutely awesome business! It's hard to find great trades these days.

I always read reviews and never consider writing one until now.I was looking for a local electrician and came across Josh. From the first interaction he was a complete professional. He offered to check out the work I was requesting on a Sunday because it was convenient for me. The quote came through the next day and everything was itemised for what would be completed. The work was done to a high quality standard, Josh didn’t try to take any shortcuts or take the easy option on some difficult tasks where I would have been okay with. He was set on making sure everything was positioned in the best location and looked good even when it made the work harder.- He arrived on time the three times he was at my place- Work was quality, nothing was a problem- Super clean everywhere, nothing left behind- Offered to replace some broken tiles on the roof I had not got around to fixing- He is hard working and never stopped until the work was done.Other than the quality work, Josh is just a really genuine and nice person. He appears to be a young guy who is determined to build a successful business honestly and with integrity.I know I already said it but thanks again Josh I really appreciate everything you did. Our mid century classical house was due for rewiring . The house had solid brick wall and some cabling ran under the house and in the renders of the walls which makes the job much more difficult. I called up Josh for an inspection and quote. Unlike all the other electricians that came, Josh stood out as he knew exactly how to deal with a house like ours, has good prior experiences and had a very has a competitive pricing plan. I was convinced that Josh was the one for the job and indeed he did a superb job. It was a difficult task, with areas where some clever solutions were required. Josh was up the task. He was professional and very efficient. He was also an impressive problem solver as he managed to come up with very clever solutions for the wiring and suggestions that improved the light switches of the house. Josh's service was great, his friendly, reliable and I was impressed at how clean he left the place when the job was done. I am very satisfied with Josh's work and would highly recommend him.

I was referred to Josh by a close friend of mine who he had done some commercial work for. Being the conservative type, I initially had doubts about this young man with the dreadlocks but I can now honestly say that he has done amazing work on two of my properties with such professionalism and tidy workmanship. I have now used Lighting up Melbourne on two of my homes for both fault finding emergency repairs , switch board upgrades , oven installs and air conditioner installs and all I can say is….
