Cool village market, very busy but still enjoyable. Laksa still very good but not the winner of my vote for best Darwin laksa.

Such a cool experience! Mostly food here. Recommend to arrive early (before 10) so its less queues and less crowded - otherwise it will be hard to find a table. Some places only accepted cash.

Parap Markets were very busy on a Saturday mid morning. Good mix of stalls and food, but limited space to sit and eat. Mary's laksa was worth every cent, and very filling. Good vibe.

3.5 starsCome early to find a carpark. Or park the car nearby and walk a little.Small area. Crazy busy and crowded. There are various stalls selling flowers, fresh fruits and vege, food, arts, handcrafts, and clothes. Too many people, just walked around, and bought something, then left.2-3 Tables with chairs ate beside Mary's Laksa. Some food stalls have long queue, eg. Mary's Laksa, Sari Rasa Sate, and a Crepes stall.Mary's Laksa: longest queue as it's reputation. Very good value. Good service. Recommended.Sari Rasa Sate: charcoal BBQ Chicken, beef or lamb satay skewer $3@, tender meat. Pretty good. Good service too. Recommended.Ruby G's canteen & Bakery: no queue here. No price or name tag. Only wanted to take an almond croissant and a chocolate bread home ~$8.5@, however, it's too messy as the chocolate coating was melting in the paper bag. We ate all immediate. Not bad.
