Townsville Folk Festival
Love this festival, they cater for people of all ages (especially kids), several stages, Sat night light parade & show. Lots of camping areas - designated for quiet, family, noisy patrons (select your style). Heaps of food & merchandise stalls. Excellent entertainers & performers. Highly recommend!

Relaxing natural enviroment. We learnt the hard way. Best to take your own camping gear and enjoy your time there relaxing. The caravans are filthy to the point of disgusting. It felt like they had not been cleaned in years. The showers and toilets however immaculate, should have rented the toilet block not the caravan.

Love playing at Palm Creek Festival with 33 1/3rd . Awesome crowd lots of Energy between Artists and Audience to make a warm feeling for everyone, oh and lots of sweat. A must for everyone and everyone to visit Once in a Lifetime experience. Icky Jones 33

This festival is an amazing experience for families of all ages. Showcasing local, national and international musicians, songwriters, singers, poets, artists and performers, as well as the many clothing and market stallholders, you can be certain to enjoy this festival, whilst eating great food that was made with love from the numerous food venders. Be sure to thank all the wonderful volunteers and event organizers, that have dedicated their time, sweat, tears and love of live music and performances to bring this festival to you all. ❤

I have been going to this fest for many years, it is a great weekend of music, food and a lot of fun. Well worth the effort, it is a great atmosphere.

I had the good fortune of working on Security for the entire 4 days duration of the festival and cannot wait for the opportunity to attend next year's event. The amazing experience was more than I could have prepared for. Wonderful people , great music and a fresh air under the stars. Bring on next year.

Townsville Folk Festival
The Townsville Folk Festival has been one of my favorite events each year. The family-friendly event sports local, interstate and overseas artists to perform their chosen arts disciplines. The talents always astound me and become a memorable time in a lot of peoples' lives. The camp grounds and facilities are kept tidy, and is spacious enough for all. The activities in the festival grounds keep you entertained for hours. There is no better folk festival here in Townsville. Spending time with friends and family at an event like this will definitely be something to be spoken about for a long while. Til' next year :)
