Burrinja Cultural Centre
Was here for Open Studio on the weekend recently. Well designed arts & culture hub. As it was no entry into the other areas - can only comment on the ground level artist studios & gallery - which is set out in a seamless way & easy to navigate. Blends well with hillside landscape. Well done!

Burrinja Cultural Centre
Went to the theatre which was really good. Whilst there i explored rooms where there was beautiful art hung on the walls and amazing jewellery and exhibits on display under glass. The place was wonderfully light and airy. The staff were very friendly and patient (proof of vaccination can be challenging for some attendees). I'm looking forward to exploring the classes and other cultural experiences on offer.

Burrinja Cultural Centre
The small cafè at the Burrinja cultural centre is staffed by young women with special needs. They serve beautiful hot coffees of all varieties and offer a range of cakes and biscuits to nibble on.These young women take such pride in their work and they love it. Not only that, they are really good at what they do.Situated in a beautiful park setting with a fabulous play area for the kids, you should do yourself a favour and drop in for a coffee the next time you are out and about.Experience the joy first hand and admire their good work. You won't be disappointed.

Burrinja Cultural Centre
Hidden gem at the foot of the Dandenongs and well worth stopping by if you're interested in visual and performing arts. It's a little out of the way so check for current exhibitions and make a booking if necessary.

Burrinja Cultural Centre
We saw Ross Noble here and it was lovely. A very long line at the drinks counter. The front row was at the same level as the stage.

Burrinja Cultural Centre
It is what it is. There were some great snowgum and mountainous photos in the gallery by a Melbourne artist and a meaningful audio visual piece regarding a dam wall in the same room; while the main gallery room was oddly taken up by a small, rather unsuccessfully executed, onanistic ‘conceptual’ work. Such is contemporary art today I guess.The cafe was awesome, fielded by neurodiverse folks.

Great art displays, staff are extremely friendly and accomadating and as an added bonus you get to talk to some of the artists that doing the work in front of you.The Cafe is fantastic and very inclusive to people with all kinds of abilities.
