I have had a really good experience with Gilbert Real Estate. Would recommend them in a heart beat! Such lovely people!They have great local knowledge and are very experienced in what they do. They have greatly assisted me with my real estate needs, are very approachable and are always able to answer any questions I have.

Rented a property through Gilbert RE. after moving in I realised I was in a cottage that had severe mould, NO DRINKABLE water!! leaking ceilings, rotting window frames, pipes freeze over in winter, sewage coming up through drains (the septic tank was only fixed about a month before I was kicked out, and then they tried to make me pay for the ridiculous bill!!)My hot water only lasted for 10 minutes, they never EVER did maintenance. The list goes on and on and on! After putting up with that for about 3.5 years of constantly asking for the issues to be rectified I sent a letter of complaint in which they responded with an eviction notice ( in the middle of COVID lockdown), then they took my bond. They had absolutely no remorse for any of their actions and took no accountability for their unprofessionalism and misconduct.There was a time they gave me a breach notice for posting on a public FB page about a lost cat. Which was a complete breach of my privacy.They are un professional BULLIES both the landlords and the agents!. DO NOT RENT from these people! put your money elsewhere, I can guarantee you will have a much nicer and way more professional experience.* Please let me know exactly what part of my review is factually incorrect or defamatory. This was my experience as a tenant and I don't want anyone else having to experience it. I have photos, videos, emails, tenant ledgers, eye witnesses, notice of rent increase, letter to fair trading, notice to terminate tenancy & more.* It is absolutely not several years since I vacated, not even close.* I don't believe this business has any authority what-so-ever to request: ..please confirm that you are prepared to waive your rights to privacy in relation to your tenancy.." in response to me leaving a review.How is a review with photo evidence "baseless" & "factually incorrect"In accordance with the privacy Act (1988) Gilbert real estate do not have any authority to contact any reviewer via their personal contact details.This incident has been reported."

My partner and I viewed and applied for a rental property with Gilbert Real Estate Bungendore about 2 weeks ago. I emailed once asking for an update on our application which got no response. I emailed again a week later asking if there was anything I could do to assist our application as this was the only rental we applied for because it suited us so perfectly. Again no response. Our employment, rental references or personal referees weren't even checked so how can you make a fair decision on prospective tenants if you don't even process their application. The lack of care or communication from this real estate is very disappointing and quite disgusting really. To not even have the common courtesy to respond to someone and playing around with peoples emotions is just awful. I know our application was strong and I also have a feeling that our application wasn't looked at and we didn't get a fair go because we have 2 dogs..... for a semi-rural property with more than enough space for us and our pets. I'd avoid if possible.

I highly recommend Kim and the Gilbert Real estate team. Kim is very knowledgable and has given me some really great tips as i started looking into rentals. She has greatly assisted me in finding my first rental home. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to Gilbert Real Estate
