I hired SCR last year to totally re-waterproof and re-tile my balcony that had been leaking for some time. Fergus did the initial quote and was great to deal with. The price was reasonable, very similar to other firms I quoted with, so I was confident it was the market rate. The workers who did the actual job were all polite and diligent. It’s been a few months so I can’t remember all the names, but I believe Mark did waterproofing and Hadi did tiling. I went with a non-standard brick tiling pattern, rather than having the tiles laid in a simple grid. I could see that this greatly increased the complexity of the tiling, but it didn’t change the quote by much. It looks really smart. It’s been over two months now, there has been some decent rain, and my balcony hasn’t leaked a single drop since the job was done.

I have my balcony redone 2 weeks ago with SCR. Highly recommended. Smooth process from quote until completion. Fergus is knowledgeable and know exactly what needs to be done at the first inspection. Price is competitive. He and his team are easy to deal with, professional, polite and regular update of progress and status. The works done by Fergus team - Ryan, the water proofer and Hadi, the tiler are excellent professionals as visible from their works in the photos.

I engaged SCR to do a full balcony replacement in Richmond, VIC, in June 2019. The quote was competitive & the service exceptional. They listened to my concerns & discussed the approach with me throughout, with very good & responsive communication. The technicians were friendly & respectful of my house, often left alone to lock up in my absence. They also helped with reviewing & resolving a few other issues free of charge. The job completed was of high quality & has given be peace of mind. Would certainly recommend & not hesitate to use again.

I cannot thank SCR enough for an amazing job done on my balcony. Water leak was immediately identified and the job from start to finish was seemless, stress free all thanks to fergus and his entire staff. The crew including officeto balustrade fittings, tiling, sealing were all professional, open communication and friendly. We hired SCR to fix and clean the tiling in our bathroom and was very impressed. They arrived on time for the quoting, and were very reasonably priced and helpful with suggestions and options for our particular situation. When it came time do do the actual work their office kept us in the loop about when they were arriving, they came exactly when they said they would, were very friendly and did a great job on it. It looks even better than we expected! We've had other work done on other parts of the house and a mess was always left behind for us to clean up, but these guys not only cleaned up after themselves, they also made sure they didn't make a mess anywhere else in the house. Very clean & tidy tradesmen! We would highly recommend SCR - could not be happier and more satisfied with their service!

What a fantastic company! I had the pleasure of meeting Fergus who came to see the concerns I was having with my balcony. Fergus was super helpful, lovely and honest. Fergus came out to quote for a leaky balcony and provided me with honest & helpful advice. Fergus advised the current membrane was in good condition and the leak was likely due to cracks in the wall and joints as a result of movement in the house. He further provided me with a simple & effective solution for the issue.It was nice change to have a tradesperson come out and provide honest advise and not just trying to get the next job out of you.Fergus and the SCR team provided an excellent service and good communication.
