SuperPowered Pole is the worst unprofessional company I have ever encountered. The company ignored me, laughed at me, and demanded respect from me.I spent a month attempting to terminate my contract as a result of hardship, the company confirmed that payments would be paused until a conclusion is met.The next fortnightly payment was taken out of my account anyways. After this I was ignored for over a week via text (requesting information about funds taken), and when I eventually got in touch with them, the phone call I received was a nightmare. They refused to let me talk or ask questions throughout the conversation, and even muted me at one point because I was trying to talk. The only good thing I can say about this company is that the instructors are great. I only hope that the instructors who work there are treated with respect.

I joined this studio as it was nearby. I couldn't recommend this centre less.. Firstly, the 'roll-over' system for membership contracts are simply a money-grabbing technique that exploits good people. Do not give them your card details, I should have seen the warning signs when they refused an upfront cash payment for my terms.Secondly, when their Aldinga centre closed down, they crammed classes at their Woodcroft centre with little warning, there were more students than there were poles, and with a variety of different skill levels.Furthermore, the business is handled by the most unprofessional individual I have come across. She is aggressive and will send multiple messages with an array of grammatical errors. It's lucky they have employed someone to handle the administration side of things, but I feel it's too far gone at this point...

Highly unprofessional. Abused my partner about an issue that would have taken 5 minutes to resolve. Everything up to fraudulent threats of legal action. There are many good pole studios in Adelaide, this is not one of them. The teachers are good but it is all undone by a brutish and mean spirited owner. Avoid at all costs.

Yvette & I joined pole fitness as a stepping stone to reaching 50. Andrea was welcoming, very supportive of our goals & fitness level. The strength class with Andrea is supportive, fun & amazing people to be around we now feel that life begins at 50. Michelle our pole instructor teaches us well , gives us the confidence to achieve our goal to reach the top of pole. The laughs & the support we give each other has not only given us our confidence back but we feel positive about our body image, strength & accomplishments made in these last 8 weeks. For anyone doubting pole fitness give it a go.

If you're considering starting pole but you're unsure, shy, scared... read this! Cause that's how I felt before starting pole dancing here over a year ago! Come give it a try... what do you have to lose?I fell in love with the studio and the teachers from day 1. I needed a safe space to learn how to love myself again, and get stronger physically as I am fighting endometriosis and adenomyosis. Well it exceeded my expectations.I joined while feeling very self-conscious and anxious, but it all went out the window thanks to the amazing qualified teachers. They make you feel safe and supported at all times. And the same support comes from other students, no matter their abilities/levels. Everyone cheers you on, helps you, it's like a big family. I told them that the teaching reminds me of Karate kid! Repeating exercises to gain strength and technique, and then understanding how it allows you to do amazing moves! The thrill, pride and happiness you get when nailing a new move for the first time is amazing and addictive!I can do things now that amaze me. I would not have believed you if you told me a year ago that I'd be flying upside down on a pole! I really didn't think it'd be a life-changing experience, but it really is.I'm from overseas and also struggled with loneliness, being in a different country. I'm so grateful that I found a place where I feel like I really belong, where I can meet beautiful people from different backgrounds, and make friends.I recently moved away from the studio and I was very sad not to be able to keep going. But Andria worked with me to find a solution so that I could keep learning with her. Andria will go out of her way to support and empower women and she's a life saver.Being a business owner post-covid is certainly not easy, but the owner has really pushed herself to maintain that beautiful space for us. Some admin changes had to occur in the past weeks so that she could support us in the best way, and she's been upfront about it and listened to students' suggestions too to make it work. I really appreciate her honesty.I can't recommend this place enough. The healthiest addiction that exist!

I have had nothing but positive experiences at this studio. Before I even decided to sign up the owner was fantastic at explaining the options and listening to my individual needs. Being a busy working mum I found the class options and flexibility of being able to change classes when needed extremely helpful. The classes themselves are fantastic. The instructor I have (Rahnee) is knowledgeable and welcoming. On occasion I have had the owner teaching when I have had to swap classes and she is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I absolutely love the focus on correct form and drill training for specific moves to ensure I am building muscle memory, strength and progressing safely. As someone with a chronic injury this is so important for me.The staff are always communicating changes/information and constantly seek feedback to address any concerns or worries.I have attended several studios in SA and VIC and can honestly say this is my favourite.

Very unprofessional and costly.I have many problems with this business, the only good thing about them is the teachers.I wanted to cancel and did so well before the required time, but it was still an issue and I was charged after the cancellation date anyway. Getting the refund back was difficult too.The manager is very unprofessional and communication is very difficult. After canceling I was still receiving irrelevant and wrong information about my cancellation, and when I enquired further about this I felt patronised. It’s very expensive, which would be fine if the service was worth it. It isn’t.Don’t waste your time

Superpowered Pole felt like a welcoming studio and the teachers are very kind - however, the positive vibes end with the owner. The owner was rude, disrespectful and tries to get as much money from you as possible. She also overshared her personal issues with all her students which consistently interrupted class time and refuses to provide students with any refunds when classes are cancelled due to issues on the studio's end. Multiple classes were suddenly cancelled and we were required to change classes entirely mid-season, whether we wanted to do a different class or not, as she refused to cancel the membership for the class that was cancelled, and would continue taking money out for that cancelled class for the remainder of the term. When I tried to leave the studio (my contract and membership for my classes were both ending), the owner continued to charge me for classes I was not attending and refused to give me a refund, then threatened me with a debt collector for additional funds. While this was happening, she would sent me up to 5 emails a day harassing me about the issue, continuously tried to call me after I asked her not to and threatened to call my emergency contact too. She treated me like a child and attacked my personal mental health issues as a reason for me not understanding how the contract works". Her emails

I honestly wish I'd read reviews before I signed a contract with Superpowered Pole Studio. Me and my 15 year old daughter attended classes here for quite a while. Unfortunately, due to an ongoing medical condition, I had to resign from my current job, was essentially homeless and relying solely on the disability pension. Consequently, the almost $43 a week I was paying for us both was no longer realistic.I reached out to the owner to request leave, for which I produced all the relevant documentation, and was shocked when the studio's response was immediately threatening and confrontational.Even though all I'd requested was leave, I was constantly reminded that I had signed a contract and cancellation was an unfair and costly process for me and the studio. This encouraged me to review both the contract & what I'd previously been charged, which clearly showed I'd been overcharged majority of the time we'd been there!Cue 4 months of emails between us and 3 phone calls promised and then cancelled last minute, only to be told that anything I'd been overcharged would be renumerated with class passes (which we clearly couldn't use) and that we would both be expected to finish out the contract at full price for the remaining 6 months. After months of getting nowhere, I was forced to consult with legal aid and place a block on my bank account. When I informed the studio of this, the owner called me twice and left passive aggressive messages, whereby the blame was placed on me and I was threatened with debt collection. It wasn't until I named my lawyer and advised them of the advice I'd been given (the final solution was to refer the matter to the ACCC), that they accepted my monetary offer. It is such a pity that things were handled the way they were, because the classes themselves were great & the owner has a lot of inspiring ideas for the studio and it's clients. Unfortunately, the compassionate, thoughtful teacher seems to go out the window when things don't go her way. Her aggressive approach and her inability to negotiate ruin the whole place's potential.
