Learning guitar with Rod has been an amazing experience. I've been taking lessons with Rod over the last couple of weeks and I've made so much progress in this time. I feel much more confident in my playing. He never loses sight of the fact that his students are individuals with unique needs and learning styles. Rod’s teaching moves at a pace that’s perfect for you, using the most fun exercises for your level. I’m loving soloing over backing tracks at the moment and that was literally a week’s guidance and effort to set me on the right track. I definitely recommend signing up.

Highly recommend!!After many years of a musical journey I decided to join Hollier Music to continue learning to play the guitar. I found Rod to be so welcoming regardless of skill level. It's been months now since I joined and It's going great. I can notice my technique getting so much better. Mastery of these fundamentals is what makes Hollier Music the right place to learn guitar. Rod is a very knowledgeable teacher but more than that he is patient and flexible, taking the time to understand where you are with your guitar journey and how you can reach your goals.I had developed some random skills but am still very much a beginner guitar player, he was able to piece these together and create a plan for me to get to where I want.

Rod is an amazing teacher. Very patient and calm, even when I’m doing really badly, and very helpful in what he teaches. His teaching material is thorough, so I always have something to practice, and the curriculum is varied so I’m never bored. I’m looking forward to many more guitar lessons!

Rod has been such a fantastic and patient teacher who makes you feel very comfortable regardless of your level.
