The Bath Lane Cafe had a great atmosphere. It also had the highest standard of adherence to Covid Safe standards I’d encountered anywhere. The service was quick and professional, and the food was tasty. I was dining with my mother, and unfortunately whoever was making the coffees got both our coffee orders incorrect. That was slightly disappointing as when our order was taken it was read back to us, and was taken correctly. The breakdown was at the point of whoever made the coffee, not being careful when reading the order, and making the coffee.I’d certainly go back. It was a nice venue.

Well situated to sip on a good coffee and enjoying some breakfast while watching Bendigo stroll past. The Hollandaise sauce did not split in the hot plate. But the bread used for toast needs to be of better quality at this price point.

Customer service was sub-par at best, the server was rude and dismissive. She gave us menus but failed to mention that the kitchen was even closed, until we tried to order?! We ordered two strawberry white choc hot chocolates, one came wrong and they refused to fix it. Honestly the one made right was awful. After a ridiculous wait for a lukewarm microwaved soup, which came served with a sad slice of white bread instead of sourdough, like on the menu, I had probably four bites before giving up. It was bland, cold and really the only flavor it had was from whatever dishwashing water they used to clean the bowl. Honestly appalled at how they can even serve that. Will not be coming back.

Pancake stack with blueberry jam. Serve enough for 2 people. 3 large light fluffy pancakes and generous sized jam. Highly recommended. Busy morning. But worth waiting. Coffee and pot of tea ok.

Food is always great here. Great size portions, not too big. Clean. Lovely staff. Only thing, please replace the cutlery, the knives are blunt.

Sunny side up breakfast on a Saturday morning - happy staff, outdoor seating or sit inside this cafe in Bath Lane. Generally always open. Friendly staff and great coffee.

My partner had the French toast (which sucked, flavourless and very obviously rushed.. not really French toast either, just cinnamon on toast with some banana), just dry and gross.I had the eggs Benedict, with salmon. Also awful, the eggs were wayyyyy under cooked. On one measly piece of toast.They are heavily prioritising Uber eats and delivery services over in store customers. The wait was way too long.Coffee was burnt and juice was warm.

-HONEST REVIEW (a little long but honest)Once a nice feed but now it's just a dissapointing experience every time,have give the cafe a few goes hoping I'd just caught them on a bad day....nope not the case unfortunately, constantly missing items of order,food cold or on one occasion of delivery ice cream for kids pancakes was put in a cardboard container and ontop of the hot food, needless to say the order was covered and soggy.The food is overpriced for the quality they give you, if you receive exactly what you've paid for that is.Like previously stated it was once a nice experience dining with bath lane cafe.There just seems to be a lack of pride in their products.Unfortunate to say but I can't recommend them based on personal experiences

Came in today during lunch rush- server was doing an amazing job despite being the only one on floor with a full cafe. Coffee was delicious and food was amazing!
