Results like these demand a review! I have been seeing Jake for close to two months now. I hadn't seen a chiropractor in over a year and I could feel I was quite tense, especially due to a lot of stress. From the very first appointment at the clinic, it was clear that Jake understood the source of the pain. A couple of things happened and I instantly knew I was finally onto something. Firstly, my middle back adjusted in a way that no chiropractor had achieved before. It was immediate relief, and I was amazed to find from that day that standing for a few minutes no longer hurt. Secondly, as we continue to focus more on my neck and upper back, I still deal with somewhat regular headaches. But what's different now is that for the first time in probably a decade, they're manageable. I can take a Panadol and the pain goes. That's a far cry from the migraines (they were chronic for sometime) that I had dealt with, which were at least weekly, would go on for days and often result in throwing up. There's more work to be done, but I feel relieved to be in such capable hands. Jake is extremely knowledgeable, committed to results, and clearly passionate about helping his patients.Overall, this has been one of the best investments I've made in my health and I'd encourage anyone to do the same.

Dr. Joe and the team at Elsternwick Family Chiropractic have really supported me on my journey to personal health and wellbeing. I feel like my body and spine moves the way it should and I work in a sedentary role which is not great for my posture. I am now on a wellness maintenance program with osteo/ myotherapy sessions as well. I leave each session feeling physically better than I did before. I was going day to day assuming that my lower back pain, shoulder through to neck pain, and headaches were just my body and that was that. I eventually got sick of the constant aching feeling all along my back and the nagging headaches so I decided to see Dr. Jake. I have been seeing Jake since July now and I honestly feel like I have a new back. Starting out seeing Jake quite regularly, I am now going almost a month between appointments or when I feel I need an extra adjustment. I am now able to complete tasks that previously would have left me with aches and pains for days and the headaches have gone away. Along side Jake, I have also been seeing Amy for soft tissue massages which have significantly helped with relaxing my muscles and basically rejuvenating me entirely. I would highly recommend booking in to see both Amy and Jake, as they are both very professional, friendly, and intelligent practitioners. Trust the process, you won't regret it!

I never write reviews anywhere for anything but, for Dr Jake I feel it is very much warranted! After suffering with severe weekly migraines for over 10 years, a near fatal car crash and two pregnancies, my body was a complete wreck. Dr Jake has literally changed my life for the better and I can not thank him enough. Before my treatment I couldn’t even sit on the floor to play with my children as the pain was just too intense. Now I am able to do that and so much more. I will be forever grateful.

I cannot thank the staff at Elsternwick family chiropractic enough. This may sound dramatic but I owe them my life.I’ve had severe neck and back pain since I was in my late teens, I accepted these were the cards I was dealt with. After the pain started to affect my sleep and my everyday life I decided to pay a trip to the elsternwick chiropractic. Upon initial assessment I realised that I was not in a good way and needed some help fast. Since then, Dr Jake and lovely Amy the myotherapist have helped me over come all my pain by giving me the most expert help. Each visit they ensured to listen carefully to my needs and helped beyond what I thought was possible. Thanks to both their help, I live a much more relaxed and pain free life, I feel I can do more and more body able then ever! I’ve received numerous complaints of how my posture has really improved. This doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when living with a curved posture for the last ten years, this is the biggest compliant a girl could get.So thanks again to Jake and Amy for really changing my life! You guys are both such lovely expertly educated people!

I had been suffering from 24/7 pain in my left leg and back for more than a year, in addition to many other ailments that made it difficult for me to perform normal physical activities. I couldn't sleep well, I didn't feel well. Since I started seeing Joe my life is different, I feel great, I haven't felt this good in a long time. I have to say that the attention of the staff and Joe is more than excellent. I feel very grateful.

I have been going here most of the year, once a week, and have seen such a difference in my back and body in general. I go to Amy for Myotherapy and she has changed my life around. I know exactly what stretches to do when my back aches or my muscles are tight. She is an amazing myotherapist. She’s very open, understanding, easy to talk to, and just a joy to be around. She has encouraged me to try dry needling on the tightest muscles in my back. I have a fear of needles. But with her encouragement, have tried it twice and hardly felt it at all. She’s helped my back, my neck, my legs, my feet, and my fears of needles. I’ve seen the difference it’s made in my work life and day to day life and recommend her to anyone who has tight/achy/sore muscles.My only gripe is I cannot be booked with her enough. I’ve missed my weekly appointment quite a few times because she’s been so booked that there’s no appointments open. That alone shows how important she is in this area and how many people need her as a myotherapist.I also see Jake, he is one of the chiropractors at the clinic. He has also been spectacular. I saw a chiropractor in the USA off and on for years and still had back pain with not much improvement. But here, my back is much better at this clinic. I’ve even altered my posture, my shoulders have always been hunched forward and now they are pulled back in a more proper position. He helped me get proper orthotics so my feet would stop hurting, gave me and my fiancé a foam roller, showed us helpful exercises for our muscles and has helped us in general. Both me and my fiancé have seen positive changes in our bodies and I cannot thank Jake and Amy enough for that. I can be confident that as I get older, I will continue to have a better posture and a good back and less back pain with their aid.
