Dandenong Veterinary Hospital

Had to get Rabies Vaccinations for my two dogs. Dr Jess was incredibly thorough and gentle with the dogs and all the paperwork required. Lots of triple and quadruple checking! They Also did a check on both my dogs they loved the attention no stress created! Had to travel to get the vaccination so not my normal vet but the whole experience was very easy and every hours was lovely.

Wonderful, caring and professional staff, been looking after my little cat now for 14 years, highly recommended, and thank you again!

My dog got his nail trimmed took them less then 5 mins and charged me $37.55 which I think its very expensive. Though, no complaints about services.

The staff here are simply amazing!On all occasions that i've been to Dandenong Vetinary Hospital, the staff have been accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable.On new years eve, my dog had large amounts of blood in his stool. I called multiple Vets to get a consultation as soon as possible however they were either booked out or just not interested.I'm glad I found Dandenong Vet Hospital whilst searching online. The staff (admin, nurses and vets) were welcoming and were able to squeeze in a consultation based on his conditions.Big shout out to the team and once again, thank you.If you are considering another Vet, highly recommend DVH. You won't be disappointed.

Always had the best experience here. We have had some pretty stressful events happen with our babies and every time the staff have approached this with empathy and care. I have been to a lot of vets in my life and experience some pretty horrible service while this place might not be the cheapest it is definitely worth a little bit extra to get the care and thorough service that we always receive.

The staff is amazing and the doctors are very caring.We had to put one of our cats to sleep and was overwhelmed by the care from the staff. Thank you team.

Took my kitten in for a health checkup and to get her vaccinations (kittens need vaccinations 2-4weeks apart to prevent illness and disease). upon taking my kitten into the room, one of the staff members had said to another that the bench hadnt been wiped down, they wiped it down infront of me after my unvaccinated kitten was already in the room, this poses serious risks to an unvaccinated kitten. Not only that about 10 minutes in of my kitten sniffing around a decent chuck of the wall fell off barely missing my kittens head and exposing the interior, had i not have quickly grabbed her whilst the vet stood there dumbfounded she would have climbed on in and been stuck inside their wall, with wires and pipes exposed. the vet didnt show much concern for this, lifted the piece of wall back up and continued. My kitten has a heart murmur so they attempted to book her in for an ultrasound (booked for 2 weeks later BEFORE her second vaccine) I obviously canceled the booking for her heart ultrasound and booked directly with the cardiologist as i would rather not risk her getting sick. She is going back tonight however for the second vaccination despite my discomfort and well i guess we’ll see if they have fixed the wall in their vet room and i WILL be asking them to clean down the benches and floors with disinfectant before hand so i can assure my kittens health isnt at risk. Obviously i dont want to bring my girl here again after this however she needs her second shot before the ultrasound on her heart. Despite this the staff were nice enough and gave a free bag with a treat, a toy and some booklets, weather this was to make me feel better about the situation or not i dont know. I dont recommend coming here until they have made their vet room safe for animals and you personally watch them sanitise the room. See you at 6!

Hi ill like to say my cat mj tammy color 3yrs male have photos to view someone has my cat mj they tryed to claim him and put in there name they have kidnapped my mj and i want him back if anyone at any vets have him come in keep my cat till i pick him up and if anyone sees him contact the vets thank you the people that have my cat still has mj they wont give him back still missing

The team at Dandenong Vet Hospital are absolutely phenomenal and I can't say enough good things about them. They looked after our beloved senior cat for over 3 years, through regular vet visits and a range of health issues. Every visit was conducted with so much care and they always supported us to ensure our cat's best interests were met. They went above and beyond several times and guided us throughout our journey, including making the decision to say goodbye when needed. I would highly recommend the team at Dandenong Vet Hospital and could never thank them enough for the care they provided!

A most memorable experience, thank you all at Dandenong Vet Hospital <3Unfortunately I had the task of putting to sleep my boy of almost 15 years yesterday, but I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful experience.This was my 1st time visiting Dandenong Vet Hospital and from the phone call through to the service received and care given I couldn't fault them.Dr Darren was amazing and compassionate, he walked me through my opitons with sincerity and gave me no doubt I was making the right deciosn even after offering surgery as an alternative.I can't thank the team enough for making Rusty's last hour as unstressful as possible, he even got to have some treats only seconds before we let him go.They helped me get a paw print and organise the cremation which also made things easier for me during this tough time.Rusty is sadly missed, but I highly recommend the team at Dandenong Vet Hospital for making the experience as easy as possible.R.I.P Rusty 08/02/2008 - 08/12/2022
