Highlands Taphouse
A great experience at Southern Highlands Brewing and Taphouse today. The venue has a classic vintage yet modern feel. Light, clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly and attentive and helped us to a table straight away. They were only too happy to bring our son colouring pencils and paper and happily obliged and said hello every time he called out to them. Menu has a great selection from entrees and light meals to more substantial selections. Opting to start with the nachos to share they were a winner. Main meal was the Taphouse burger which was delicious. Our meals were served quickly and were nice and fresh and tasty. Beverage selection is great- hubby loved the tasting paddles of beers. Nice wine selection as well as cocktails. An all round great dining experience we will be back again!

Highlands Taphouse
Really impressed with the customer service here.Very accommodating to our large party (9 people including 2 kids).The Chef came out and spoke to my Grandmother because she was concerned about her food being too spicy and he even came out after the meal to make sure everything was to her liking.There were games for the kids to play with and the waitress even gave them some free popcorn while we were deciding what to order.Kristy brought out the birthday cake and had the whole restaurant sing to the birthday boy (much to his embarrassment). They cut up and served the cake for us also.Food was delicious, great all round experience.Thanks, team, keep up the amazing work!

Highlands Taphouse
We’ve had a Baptismal after party here and all guests were impressed by the manner and time in which food and drinks were delivered and presented. The food was very tasty, with interesting combinations, and generous servings. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating when it came to storing and organising the cake for cutting and serving. We would definitely recommend.

Great afternoon leading into an excellent dinner.Meals served all day, craftie on tap and interesting cocktails. Had a wonderful meal, interesting flavours and well presented.Beautiful original furnishings adding atmosphere to a comfortable venue.Make sure you book!

Highlands Taphouse
Great place to have beer and hearty food. Not every beer we liked, but you can find some that are OK. The spareribs were excellent, however. So were the deserts and the coffee. Make sure to reserve, for otherwise you get a table that could not be very cozy.

Highlands Taphouse
This place used to be impossible to book a weekend table for because it was so popular. Surprised we could easily get in. We arrived and hardly anybody was there for a usually very busy Saturday lunch. We soon realised why. It’s changed hands. They’ve changed the menu completely. It is now extremely expensive, the menu is very unappealing and despite it costing a bomb, portions are super stingy.Why would you change something that was working beautifully? I was introduced to the owner when I arrived but he walked away from me. Hospitality is about being friendly and welcoming. The whole experience was such a let down. Really unfortunately, we’ve lost our favourite place to eat in the Highlands and won’t be back. We left hungry and feeling so ripped off.

Highlands Taphouse
Lovely atmosphere and great to find somewhere open for dinner in a Sunday night (Well they close at 7 - but we still made it)! Delicious food, great drinks and amazingly attentive and helpful service with lots of 'goodbyes and 'thanks for coming' even from the kitchen as we walked out the door. Lots of different areas to enjoy with the family, on a date, with friends, and such a fun but classy vibe - loved all it has to offer here.

Highlands Taphouse
We had a wonderful experience at the Highlands Taphouse. I can only say one thing, and that was the menu had changed from the last time we visited, meaning less choices, and I wasn't prepared for that. However all our food selections were top quality. Everything was great and we got to spend a longer time with friends and family because the Taphouse was very quiet and hardly any people around for a Sunday lunch time. A great experience. Thank you Taphouse and to all of your wonderful helpful staff, cooks/chefs.
