My younger cousin went to buy a book for a family member as a present today, when at the counter to make her purchase a staff member started by greeting her rudely. She then proceeded to ask her if she would like to donate to charity. My cousin, who doesn’t have much money to start with, politely declined. The staff member then made a comment, guilting her and shaming her for not donating. I’d just like to add that you never know someone’s circumstances and financial situation, to make snide remarks at someone’s inability to donate is unprofessional and just down right close minded. I’ll think again when choosing where to purchase my books in the future.

Ever since covid restrictions were lifted on October 11,it has been regularly short-staffed.Last week I intended to make a purchase but ended up walking out when I spent several minutes waiting at the counter to be served,only nobody came.It wasn't as though it was very busy.

Loved the assistance received. Even though I showed up not long before closing time, the 2 lovely ladies were welcoming and helpful and had a very friendly approach. They made what usually is an indecisive chore for me (trying to find the right children's book) easy and fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for what I deem to be proper, good old customer service. Thank you ladies.

I live out of the area, we looking to send a present locally,, telephoned them asking about kids books. Janice (the customer service person) organised my books and payment over the phone, with ease. Also dropped them off to the address on the way home. WOW! That is what customer service was like before computers, Fantastic!10 out of 10 for customer service.

I was helped by Kyle while in the Wollongong store. Kyle's customer service was beyond exceptional. Kyle was attentive, provided great advice and kept checking in throughout my visit. I'm usually a very self-sufficient shopper, but thoroughly enjoyed Kyle's bubbly positivity and friendliness. Kyle is an absolute asset to your store.

Great book store! For such a small space they sure had some of everything, especially fantasy and for young/intermediate readers. Staff were not only kind but enthusiastic about giving recommendations and reading tips.

Within a mere five minutes of my arrival, a staff member approached me in an exceedingly impolite manner, repeatedly asking if I intended to buy something before allowing me to explore the books freely today. This aggressive and unwelcoming approach not only caught me off guard but also greatly diminished my overall experience as a customer.

Absolutely excellent service, with staff who love books just as much as their customers. Everyone is always well-mannered and keen to help - even with the vaguest of requests.I would advice everyone to use this store.
