Great facilities, with timeless decor and wonderful staff. The accommodation is beautiful and humble. The menu is always 10 out of 10 and the staff do a great job making sure your needs are met. Truly the best service in town.

I was invited there as a guest and received a very professional service. I liked a lot it was quiet there. Could be even better if they wash the curtains, as they look dirty. ladies , you can wear your beautiful dresses there. Nice place, with sense of history.

The building was magnificent. Majority of staff were lovely. The food served that day was terrible. The turkey was so dry and tuff you couldn't eat it. Food was luke warm and very bland. The vegetarian meal looked like dog food. For the money I paid I was very disappointed.

I did park my car and paid for all day, and once I got back, I found that somebody had crashed into the side of my car. They told me that we do not have liability for that but will provide you with footage of the camera. Unfortunately, after calling many times, they could not provide me with footage, and there is no responsibility. So can you let me know the liability of paid parking for the club? What poor service!

Fabulous Decor from yesteryear is maintained beautifully. Staff are always cordially polite and immaculately presented. A lovely venue conveniently located within walking distance of the CBD. Parking around the back and across the road from a council car park as well. I attend DC Toastmasters here and dinner is included as part of our meetings. It's nice to sit down to linen table cloths and napkins with heavy silverware. There are a number of rooms catering for intimate to large gatherings. I highly recommend going here as a reprieve from the chaos of the city as a place to simply relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings.

This establishment, for current servicing and ex-servicing members, is excellent. Think old world officers mess. Even the current messes in the ADF have gone by the wayside of modernising super kitchen feeding multiple “messes.” The staff are welcoming and attentive. The food has always been wonderful. Just as the atmosphere and facilities. Highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful venue in the heart of the CBD soaked in history, sophistication and class. The staff are attentive, well presented and efficient. The decor impeccable and beautifully maintained. The meals are tasty and presented with particular pride. There is convenient parking out front to get picked up and dropped of directly at the front door and signage is clear.

We wanted our wedding to be magical so we were looking for a venue that would provide the right atmosphere for our small, family event. The wonderful, warm, old-world ambience of the Club was just perfect for our special day.The bay window and French doors of the Norman Pixley Room provided a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and the ornate ceilings and heritage features of the Moreton Room made our reception even more romantic.Having the use of adjoining rooms for the ceremony and reception meant guests could move freely between rooms and provided a safe additional space for the children to play.Another huge bonus was the convenience of free on-site parking for all our suppliers and guests. That's something other venues in the city do not provide. Our guests raved about the meals, the atmosphere and the excellent service provided by the staff. The whole evening went like clockwork and we could not be happier!
