Nando's Southbank
A nice store towards the end of Southbank away from the main parklands. There is the option to order at the counter or using the convenience of the link from your table. There are about 30 tables, mostly inside and some outside. Your order is delivered to your table. There is also takeaway service and the option to use a food delivery service. Staff are friendly, but this very busy store is terribly undermanned. We ordered at the counter at 11.30am before the biggest rush and waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The table next to us had some children and their dishes were served 20 minutes apart. The food was fresh and nice, but small in the portions compared to other Nandos stores. They have room for improvement.

The experience here was pretty good overall. I came for a quick dinner, whilst walking in Southbank. The service was good, the staff were friendly and the food was decent.The only thing that could probably be improved is that we were not allowed to eat inside (not too sure why). Outdoor seating was okay, but birds kept flying around us to get the food that other people had left behind.Otherwise, it was a clean store, decently quick food service, and honest food. Close walk to Streets Beach, and public bathrooms etc!

Nice location, but poor turnaround for food arrival. Why should chicken wraps take 45+ minutes to arrive? And the restaurant wasn't that busy... a tad disappointing really.

It was so wonderful, myself and my date had a wonderful lunch here after being told nearby places were full, our food was brought out quickly and was delicious. The chips were very nice.

We went on a Friday night. There was a long queue at the counter to order but saw a table was free and that you can order at the table with a QR code so we decided to do that. Pretty much straight away someone came and wiped out table down. We ordered our food about 7:45 and I got a text saying our food should be ready at 8:01. We heard the people at the table next to us asking where their food and drinks were and thought that was a bad sign. At about 8:10 I started wondering where our food was. I was looking around and the table behind us was also obviously wondering where their food was. Finally around 8:25 I finally had enough and I went and stood at the counter. I could see the kitchen staff working furiously and someone who I assume was the manager was busy putting fires out everywhere like cleaning up a broken glass and the complaints from people. Someone told me they would be with me in a minute. While I was waiting at the counter I could see my food taken to the table so I went to sit down but realized our drinks hadn't been brought out. My partner said the staff member was going to bring them .then we saw the staff member taking other people's orders out to the tables. I had to go back and wait at the counter to get my drinks. It was about 8:30 before we had our drinks and food. My food was actually very yummy. I think the staff are doing the best they can but are clearly understaffed. Management needs to look at putting more staff on during the peak periods. I imagine the staff working all had a very stressful night. I wouldn't be rushing back to this location.

A must try place for anyone that loves some Hot spicy chicken, the double cheese and bacon burger i had was fresh and full of flavour.Outdoor/indoor seating is very comfortable and very atmospheric with some great tunes and the staff were very friendly.Plenty of menus options, highly recommend.

Had superfood salad. Tasted good and healthy. The website and app order process is terrible and the queue and wait is quite long . They were busy and chaotic and white Ibis harass you if you sit outside, but the food is as good as you'd expect from a nandos.

I'm a huge Nando's fan but this restaurant is run down and dirty and has been for a while. Are you being lazy due to prime location? The seats are all dirty, even at the beginning of the day. I took my food takeaway to get away from the gross interior. With such poor upkeep, it does make you wonder if the kitchen is clean. Will avoid.

I’ll be fair and give 3/5 for service for the staff who were friendly at least, however continue reading……. this nandos is located in the dingy and dirty backstreets of Southbank Brisbane. Dined outside next to a rat infested planter box. I dined with Chef Ratatouille himself. Staff brought me a dirty glass to start off, I had to ask them for a clean one. I didn’t even get a funky little flag on my pitta? WTH? Well nandos, you’ve changed. I felt quite unhygienic sitting here so moved on pretty quickly. Value for money and brand reputation straight down the drain in the below photos. I will not be back. Now I understand why many of your restaurants are continually closing down….
