People should dump their rubbish in the Forrest. I was charged $2400 for 6 tonne of dirt/grass… It’s a natural resource.Maitland council you are a rip off.

Looking forward to welcoming in Maitland waste management and recycling so that the good for nothing waste staff can be sweep and sort my rubbish . In the future it would be best to open the tip through all weather as to not be your own dimise.

I give them minus 5 stars if it would allow. Absolute waste of time. Their so called 'live status' never gets updated and gives false information. If you try and call, you will be waiting 15+ minutes to receive no helpful information. Don't waste your time and fuel driving there as they just close the tip at the slightest wiff of wind.

Very friendly and helpful staff at front window. I've found this to be true on multiple visits. There have been people at the dump face to guide and help out. Pleasantly surprised at reasonable fees. Good experiences all round.

Let's decide to have a staff safety meeting in the morning till 9:30 when we normally open around 8am while the cars and trucks bank up all down the road. Poor time management

Gates closed to entry at 3:45pm. We got there with 2 mins to spare. Yes we cut it tight. Apparently they had already turned off the weighbridge (so even earlier than the 3:45) which meant they didn't allow us entry. 3:45 is 3:45. We just had simple garden waste. We would have offloaded it in a couple of minutes, easily by the close of business @ 4pm

Employees have a bad attitude, think they are better then everyone, lack of training and customer interaction is clear while being here , front gate person extremely rude , hope it closes one day for good, has to be a better option then putting up with this rubble
