Woolworths Preston South

Did an online shop here for the first time and the staff here were so incompetent. I was sent the SMS that my order is ready to pick up. When I go to the desk my trolley is not in sight they made me wait then the staff came back ask me to spell my name on a piece of paper and apologized so I don't know what they went to look for the first time they went hence wasting my time. Then after I gave him my name he stops and stands around and gossips to his colleague and laughs and then tells me 2 min and he goes to get my order. Very bad customer service. Maybe go get my order first then stand around and chat not making customer wait and get frustrated. I Won't be doing any shopping at this store any time again. Less customers means less staff needed so if they want a job they should do their jobs properly.

I go here after Aldi to get bits Aldi doesn't stock. It's handy for that. However it's really badly laid out and it's hard to find anything in there. A small bag of shopping easily hits 100 dollars

Can you stop closing the main front door? Plus no one knows it's closed till they get there and then have to walk all the way back to the other door.

Half empty shelves, zero brand variety, prices missing across half the stock, no specials, butcher and seafood sections closed and packed away before you’ve even thought about dinner. Truly the worst supermarket in Melbourne.

Visited woolworths Preston South shopping center for first time. Although it is well presented and stocked, but you can hardly find any staff available to help if you need any. I don't know why the aisle layout of all woolworths can be same as all other woolworths. Because you go to new Woolworth, you struggle to find products. Possibly they could mention aisles on their online portal for all products, and in which aisle they are located in each store. That would be cool.

Clean, organized and located in good place. When you can’t find what you want you can check Aldi for that

last time I went to this store was on 03/02/2019 and I will never go back. As I left the store and walked towards Aldi a man came out from nowhere, and started verbally abusing me and threatening me. I can't remember everything he said but it included I'm gonna bash you" "I'm gonna put you in hospital" and other threats. I had never seen this man before

The store's poorly maintained outside area is affecting the overall community and is causing a nuisance for those who live nearby. We are also dismayed by the constant poor stocking of shelves, limited product range, and the incapability and undertraining of the store's staff.As customers of this store, we have noticed that the shelves are constantly empty, and it is evident that the store is not taking enough measures to restock in a timely manner. This constant issue has led to customers having to go to other stores to purchase the items they require, which is an inconvenience that we should not have to endure. Furthermore, the limited range of products available in the store is unacceptable for a large retail chain such as Woolworths, which prides itself on providing quality and diverse products to its customers.The incapability and undertraining of the staff is another issue that we have noticed in the store. The staff members are often unable to answer our questions and provide satisfactory customer service. This lack of knowledge and training reflects poorly on the store and the Woolworths brand in general.The overcrowded store is also a cause for concern, as it makes shopping uncomfortable and inconvenient for customers. We have observed that the store is consistently understaffed, and the resources available to customers are insufficient to meet the demands of the community.We believe that the root cause of these issues lies in the poor management of the store. As members of the community, we expect the management to take the necessary steps to improve the store's overall performance. It is imperative that the management invests in expert consulting to address the ongoing issues, including the staffing, product range, and store layout.We urge the management to take our concerns seriously and work towards providing the South Preston community with a well-stocked, well-staffed, and well-maintained store.
