The Cheesecake Shop

I came into the Clayton cheesecake shop last week in search for a good pavlova. In terms of the taste, and the product, absolutely spot on for the cheesecake shop. However, the man told me that he needed 10 minutes to dress the pavlova and it was closer to 25 minutes. As I was in a bit of a rush, that was a real inconvenience and made me late to my next appointment. Just be accurate with your timings so that people can plan their day.

These guys are very very busy all the time, which I personally think is a good thing.Used to go after work to check their fridge of ‘cake quarters’ for any cakes expiring that day or the next day. They used to reduce the price of their quarters to just $5 if it’s best before date was the day you were there or the day after.Unfortunately, after my recent visits, they are bumping the price up. I understand that inflation is making businesses suffer but if something is literally expiring, it should honestly be free, so they’re lucky people still pay for it.Note that in all the times I’ve been there, it wasn’t rare to see things still on the shelf that expired DAYS beforehand, not discounted at all and should either be in the bin or advertised for free.The last time I went, there was a cake expiring the day of. Instead of reducing to $5, the manager said he was going to knock just $2.50 off the price (even though they were closing in an hour and it was literally expiring!) so we paid $8.25 or something for an old piece of cake.That will be our last time as it is a bit dear to pay so much for something expiring.Keeping 3 stars as it’s a great solution for people who need cakes for any occasion, and the staff are friendly even in the face of very busy periods. I do recommend for the excellent range of cakes they have, but would also suggest avoiding their fridge of cake quarters as it’s not worth the money.

So grateful to Vishal and Raman for completing the order on such such short notice. It was a friend's graduation ceremony and we wanted some customisation in the cake and they did it perfectly as we wanted and before time! I'm all praises for the place, they have so many options and such good staff - this will be the spot for every celebration from now on! So happy to have contacted them ☺️

As a last minute decision I decided to get a birthday cake for my daughter and I'm so glad I went to The Cheescake Shop in Clayton. The customer service we received from Addi was incredible, he treated my daughter like royalty and made her feel so special. He turned a standard mudcake into a beautiful personalised pink creation. Not only did the cake look amazing but it was so fresh and was loved by all. With customer service like that I will be coming back for all the family's cakes! From one very happy customer!

You guys are the best, never tasted a cake better than from the cheesecake shop Clayton. My mum was so delighted to see how well you guys made her birthday cake, the decorations made her cry

Vishal thank you for your effort in making our special occasion so so so wonderful.I can’t thank you guys enough for making our cake on such a short notice, within an hour and a half to be precise. Not to mention one of a high profile shop in oakleigh vicinity ruined our cake and only you guys came in for the rescue.I highly recommend this cheesecake for special occasion cakes especially birthday cakes. I now do not trust any other place.

Most amazing white choc mud.My son's 18th birthday cake was a hit!!! Thank you so much to the staff at clayton. I was very emotional to see the finished product. Well worth the praise for this. xx

This place is definitely a great place to get birthday cakes. For the price you’re paying, you’re getting a bang for your buck. The staff here is also extremely nice and accomodating. I ordered the chocolate mud cake at first and I called to change the cake to a strawberry torte. The staff was really nice about it and everything gone smoothly. The cake tasted alright for a birthday cake. Will be back whenever I need a cake!

I am so delighted with the service and products. We live in Glen Waverley but always buy cakes from the cheesecake shop Clayton store last 10 years, the extra drive is worth the extra taste we have got.I apologise for taking this long to leave a review.
