I have engaged Lisa’s services several times now. I found House of Allure through a google search and I was impressed by Lisa the very first time we met. I found her to be calm and confident along with an ability to listen to my needs and wants and then easily translate that into a style and plan that I could never have envisaged, but totally loved.Initially she helped to redecorate/rearrange our home that we had recently downsized into with furniture that I thought just wasn’t working. She helped me to make those pieces work by incorporating fresh lighting, curtains and rugs. Simple things that were easily achieved on a smaller budget.We engaged Lisa again when we were selling that property to freshly style it to make it more attractive and easier to sell. We achieved a quick sale with an excellent result, and believe we have Lisa to partly thank for that.Finally, Lisa has just finished helping me style and decorate our new home. Although I had chosen a specific décor style, I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed or how to bring everything together. However, Lisa’s advice and assistance has helped me turn “just a house” into a home that has flair, is inviting and comfortable and contributes to our lifestyle in a positive way.I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa whether you have a small or large budget. With her professionalism, experience and intuitiveness for what you want/need – you can’t go wrong!

After moving into my new home it was plain to see that my existing furniture just didn't suit the house so after checking a number of interior designer sites andtheir reviews I contacted Lisa to do an initial consultation too come up with some options to turn the house into a home with minimal input from myself. The recommendations that she came up with included wall and window treatments and hard and soft furnishings, all of which took into account the size of the space, colour schemes and textures along with how the spaces are used. By putting my trust in Lisa, I now have a comfortable, practical and good looking series of rooms which have had good feedback from family and friends. I have no issues in using her expertise again.

When we met Lisa our house needed renovating badly. I had a vague idea of what might look good in our home, but had no idea where to start except to go with neutral colours and matching furnishings for a ‘safe’ look. (Boring!) I badly wanted to be more bold and take a chance on colour and style as we have a magnificent view over the hills, so I wanted to create the ‘wow’ factor- but was very nervous about making the wrong choices. When we hired Lisa she was met with a run-down, decrepit 70s/80s kitchen, walls in the wrong places, none of the flooring from the kitchen to the lounge/dining and hallways matched, the walls were odd colours and the whole area was a mess. Lisa looked at the whole space and drew up some plans, then created an animated graphic design video showing us her ideas for the renovations and furnishings. This included knocking walls out, a brand new kitchen, floors, art wall, new lounge, dining table and chairs, bar area and accessories like rugs, lamps etc. She envisioned an incredible open-plan kitchen/dining space with flowing floors, amazing storage, gorgeous furnishings, colour that popped everywhere you looked- and with her concept of bringing ‘outside in’ she has enhanced our views and made the whole area a stunning, stylish, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Now that it is completed I’ve gone from living in an embarrassing mess to my dream home. And as an added bonus there are the compliments as soon as people enter our gorgeous new front door- they all open their eyes wide and say ‘Wow!’. Every single person has commented on how incredible it looks and the house now has that designer flair that Lisa told me she was going to create. I feel almost guilty that people think it was me that did it all! Lisa’s style is very unique and stylish, she has an excellent vision and the best thing you can do is to trust it, you wont be disappointed. She’s easy to work with and very patient when it comes to the nitty gritty of getting a look together that is just perfect for her client. Thank you so much Lisa! I wanted to update the look of my main living area but didn’t quite know where to start. A friend had recently used Lisa’s services and I thought the finished product was amazing. I met with Lisa and she was able to organise a custom built dining table and dining chairs with a fabric she had found for me after working out what I liked to have in my space. Side board, coffee table, sofas and outdoor furniture were soon selected after Lisa had sourced them for me. She listened to everything I had to say and was able to get me exactly what I didn’t know I needed. My completed rooms are fantastic and listening to her advice on how to arrange things has led to using the space in different ways. Better ways. I would certainly use Lisa again and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Right from our initial phone call contact Lisa made us feel comfortable and listened to our ideas and thoughts. Lisa’s vision and concept drawings clearly demonstrated that she understood how we wanted our apartment to look and function. The whole process of design, choice of colours and materials was done with an excellent attention to detail and creativity. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Lisa from House of Allure.Having chosen the design of the wallpaper that we were going to use, I then needed to find someone to supply it. It was a significant order so I wanted to make sure that if there were any problems along the way that I could speak with someone so that any issues could be sorted out.After searching the internet, I found Lisa's beautiful website. I could also see that she had a shop in South Australia from which she worked and many beautiful positive testimonials. After one phone call it was clear that Lisa runs a very professional business in which she takes a lot of pride and pleasure.I placed my wallpaper order, and she responded so quickly with information regarding the delivery process and accurate timelines.The harlequin wallpaper (leonida comice) arrived safely and has now been installed. It is so elegant. Lisa even wanted to see photos of the final product and genuinely was excited by the photos of our now beautiful rooms.I live in Melbourne and would not hesitate to place orders through House of Allure again. It was so reassuring to know that Lisa would be available on the telephone to follow anything up if it had been required.

From there, Lisa worked her magic and provided us with clear, concept plans and costings which we were able to review, offering some suggestions and feedback. Her attention to details was obvious throughout this process. Lisa co-ordinated much of the ordering of furniture, lighting, art and home decor from an wide range of sources, all of which are high quality and significantly enhance our living spaces. Lisa’s focus for our home was adding colour and texture resulting in our spaces being, and feeling, unique, welcoming with greater character and warmth. At all times Lisa was outstanding to collaborate with, her work was carefully considered, creative and inspiring and of exemplary quality. Lisa did such a great job on my place! She had the difficult task of working with furniture my previous designer had already bought.
