Bikeminded

I came into Bikeminded a couple of weeks ago. I met Tristan (owner) who welcomed me very warmly. He not only fixed my bike, but also explained what he was doing every step of the way which I really appreciated. I couldn't recommend coming here enough. If you need your bike fixed, Bikeminded is where to go.Thanks again, I now ride to uni and work almost everyday!

He has a real issue with buying bikes online and refused to help me based on this. I’m all about supporting local shops, but not if they are outright rude and unapproachable. He told me I shouldn’t buy a $35 chain from him because it would be too “expensive” for me after having bought a cheaper bike online. I bought an entry level bike online as a beginner with the prospects of upgrading in the future at this store because I would love to support local when I actually can afford to. But an unfriendly snobby culture has lost any future sales from me. I got the message loud and clear not to enter the store unless I’m willing to solely buy from there with my fat wallet.

The customer service is friendly, expert and welcoming. If you want to buy a bike and get comprehensive information with your purchase these guys tick all the boxes! I bought my new ride here and feel confident everything was and will be covered. Great experience from start to finish - my boyfriend came in for something relatively trivial last weekend (a new bike seat) and the service was still five star and they took the time. Made me come back for the big spend and very worth it in my opinion.

I have known Tristian for 7 years and always love visiting their store in the Blue Mountains. Friendly and helpful staff, who offer top quality products and service. My dad has continued to only purchase their cycling gear over the years and gets shipped to New Zealand every time :)

I went there to buy a pump for my bike and the guy spent ten minutes showing me how to use it on different types of bike valves ..I was so impressed at how helpful they were.I will def be buying my bike gear there for now on as you don't get this personalised service buying online

Refused to work on my sons bike because it was bought online, says he is super busy but his argument doesn’t stand up saying buying online is taking away jobs from the industry.Super rude and offensive in his communication.Will NEVER return!!!!Oh and just what if….. another family member bought the bike for him but he decided to roast me instead! …….

I came here for the first time today and was instantly impressed. The Bikeminded team are clearly friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They have a great store with plenty of quality bikes and accessories.I overheard one of the staff helping a young dude with his mum pick out the right bike, and they were obviously very good at what they do and giving expert assistance.I brought in my bike with a bent sprocket and twisted chain, and they were quick and professional with explaining what needed to be done and which parts were required. Came to a very reasonable price to fix too!Overall extremely satisfied with the superb service with a smile :)

Tristan was super helpful finding a strange part for my older bike!

I came in to replace my brake pads , rode out with the absence of a noisy chain whilst peddling. It was the smoothest it had ever been. Wasn’t expected thought that was another issue I just couldn’t afford to fix. Happy duck.
