I visited this cake shop multiple times while staying nearby. I love their chicken and mushroom pie, and their bee stings! The staff are warm and welcoming also.

Love this cake shop. It's one of those iconic, country cake shops that sell the Neenish tarts, massive jam donuts and hedgehog slices. Reminds me of my childhood! You're going there fore the experience, the friendliness of the shopkeeper, and for a refreshingly cheap baked good. These aren't the kind of items that are absolutely perfect and made bulk in a factory. They have character and they're delicious!

The Jam Doughnuts are the best anywhere I have ever tasted and I always wish I had brought more they are so nice. I got 2 pies last week and the filling was nice but the pastry was far to thick and doughy. Very nice staff and all the cakes and tea cakes look amazing

I liked it but my experience very limited.I thought this place looked cute and everything looked and smelled good but I only bought a gingerbread man - which was cute AND delicious.Service was prompt and place wasn't crowded but seemed well patronised - there were people leaving as I entered and people entering as I was leaving.I took a chance on this place considering the rating but my experience was good

The carrot cake is 10/10Ginger bread biscuits, Custard Cake. Sausage rolls are like ones you get from Gregg’s Bakery in England back at home. The best Bakery in Australia. Fresh and tasty. Wish it was local.

Bought a custard pie, meringue and sugared donuts. All were delicious and only cpmpliments from the troops who were with me. Will visit again when in the area next.

I bought a loaf of white sliced bread. The slices were so thin that you couldn't even butter it (with margarine!) without it ripping apart. Not sure what they put into the bread but it also had no taste at all. None?? How is that even possible? Quite possibly the worst bread I have ever eaten.Their cakes might be ok, but don't go there for the bread!

We use to frequent this place more than five years ago and their Chicken and Mushroom pies were amazing, filled with a generous amount of chicken breast, mushrooms and filling. Fast forward today you could barely count on one hand small shreds of chicken and the pie is merely filled with corn starch based gravy/filling and several mushroom pieces.Lift your game up, I won't be coming back and advise others to avoid!

I bought a sausage roll at the Chelsea cake shop and I wasn't disappointed nor impressed. I've had better, but I've also had better. I'm sure sausage rolls aren't their speciality, and their cakes look pretty good.
