Rose Seidler House
Although we didn't have the opportunity to view the house inside because it was closed, it looked like a house built in this age. We will try to go there again. It was an amazing house frozen in it's time. Spacious and very thoughtful of space being utilized. Staff were friendly and the video of Harry Seidler of his life was very helpful and interesting. Well worth the visit

Rose Seidler House
Visited this house on Sunday 10 Dec 2016 and it is certainly a trip back to the 1950s. Absolutely brilliant house, with a design which would look more modern than some of the homes of today. A time capsule, with the original furniture from the period. Surrounded by a peaceful garden, it was just lovely.

A step back in time into the mind of Harry Seidler. A beautiful simple looking house with incredible complexity hidden within. All interal lighting is indirect creating peaceful hues, rooms are cleverly divided with movable curtains and creative floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in. Stunning experience being immersed in this timeless design. Well done Harry!

Photos are great but nothing beats being immersed in the space of this house. The setting is stunning and well worth the journey. It feels modern and last century all at once. Iconic design.

Rose Seidler House
No doubt an iconic home, so my review is not about the home itself but the museum experience. Despite having knowledge of the history of the home and of Harry Seidler, I was told to watch a documentary in the basement and then go upstairs to see the home. Another group also did the same and there weren’t many people in the house at that time. By the time the documentary finished we went upstairs and the house was full of noisy people who went straight into the home which made it hard to appreciate this architectural gem.

A very interesting contemporary design example that must've stood at least a decade or two ahead of its time. A must visit!Kudos to the lovely attendants Liane and Peggy for making it deeply personalized and engaged!
