After tried over 10 massage places in Melbourne CBD. I finally found the best one. Max Therapy Melbourne Central. Ling is very professional and super friendly. She has saved my sore shoulder and back. Visit her every 2 weeks. They accepted private insurance fund as well. Go go go!

I had some extra time in between appointments and decided to try this place for the first time for a 20 minute massage. This place is super conveniently located. I was surprised at how relaxing the hot stones and oil together felt. Ann my therapist was very good and checked she had the right pressure. She hit some good points, and felt like she went beyond what she needed to do. All in all it was really worth the try. I will be back for a longer session next time!

Reception staff are lovely and Candy gives an amazing massage, she’s super strong and attentive to what your body needs and she’s kind too which is an absolute bonus. It’s clear she really cares about helping her clients and delivering good customer service. I went in with lower back & leg pain due to sciatica and she relieved so much of the tension I was worried about and released my shoulders too which I didn’t realise were so tight! Tried to leave feedback on website over multiple days but funnily enough that part of the site was (and still is!) broken.Booked a remedial massage last Sunday at the Max Therapy Melbourne Central shop and the massage was, to say the least, one of the worst I’ve ever had.The masseuse not only used his knuckles and elbows for 70% of the massage (I’ve had many remedial massages and elbows and knuckles are always a minimum, if at all), he also sneezed on my leg (Barry wiping it up), and the oil at the end of the massage was wiped off with a DRY TOWEL. Not only that, but the massage was very uncomfortable- so many times I had to direct him to go softer/ harder.I ended up getting some horrible back pain for about 4-5 days after the massage (never had that before).Very annoyed that I wasted my private health insurance benefit on this rubbish. Not only was this an unhygienic massage but horribly uncomfortable. Won’t visit this chain again. Vigorous Thai and others in the city do a much better job.. go there instead!

I have been going to max therapy for a year now and always had a good experience with them. They deeply focus on soft issue massage and relax your muscles if any inflammation or injury occurs. Special thanks to Lucy who give me the best soft tissue oil massage!
