Fu Man Lou Dumpling Bar
The menu is extensive and has all your favourite Chinese dishes. My recommendation is to stick to the dumplings. They are exceptional. On the night we attended there was one waitress on duty but the level of service was excellent. She easily performed the work of two and is a credit to the establishment.

Amazing food and amazing staffDumplings were amazing and highly recommend this place for anyone who is in the area my 5 year old ASD fussy eater loved the pumpkin dumplings and pork steamed buns.Definitely coming back here.

I had two of my favorite wonton soups here and they were pretty good. The broth was fresh and tasty and the chilli oil wasn't stale. The staff, although he was exhausted he provided pretty good service.

Always a pleasure to visit Fu Man Lou!The staff are always friendly, hard-working and respective of your experience.I usually order a range of different items including the BBQ pork buns, pork wontons and the szechuan chicken.I would also argue they make the best dumplings in town (I will stand my ground on this)I always leave with a full and satisfied stomach, highly recommend!

We ordered spicy duck, but who would have thought that you would get more chilli than duck, every mouthful was like eating chilli terrible and we wasted our time and money

Really enjoyed, a fun sharing with family dinner with tasting things together :) service was so lovely and they couldn't apologise more for being short but you did not notice :) fantastic birthday celebration for our niece :) thankyou guys.

The woman who took our order was very polite and a pleasure to be served by.The atmosphere was lovely for a small restaurant.Food was served quickly and was well cooked and delicious.Towards the end of the meal, we where attempting to show a younger member of our party (birthday girl), how to use chopsticks properly.Upon seeing this, a very polite and friendly male staff member came to our table and showed all of us how to use them properly.These people should be praised for their efforts to make our meal a special one.I will most definitely return and I strongly recommend.

If u are craving some Chinese cuisine, this is the place to be at. The food is awesome but the level of service and attentiveness is even more impressive.We were expecting a highly localized taste but were instead presented with dishes that hits close to home.(we are a group of travellers with a 2yo toddler from Singapore). The server explained that the chef upon noticing we are Asians(and obviously not locals) took extra effort to make our food more suited for Asian tastebuds.The server also served us with a jar of chilled boiled water and mentioned he usually tried to keep one around in case a family with kids drops by. I thought that was a nice touch!Lastly, you don't leave a dumpling store without ordering the dumplings, it's literally a crime. We ordered a taster basket and were impressed with the quality and range of dumplings.Definitely worth a visit!

Great food. Brilliant dumplings and glad to find a place this good in Ballarat. Lunch box specials are great value.
