Do Not Visit. This is the worst pub I have ever been to. I visited over the Easter weekend. Booked a table for 16. Everything seemed to be going well til the meals began arriving. To start we were not allowed to adjust any meals, everything had to be as is from the menu yet when our meals arrived they had substituted ingredients such as pasta instead of rice and burger buns with cheese instead of garlic bread during to the fact they had run out of the items we actually ordered. On top they dont even tell you. You find out when it comes to the table.Speaking of the meals arriving... I have never seen such a foul waitress in all my life. Dirty looks for no apparent reason and a poor attitude to serving. Get a new job if you dont like what you're doing...And to top it all off 3 of our meals never arrived. When we inquired we were told our orders couldnt be found and since we had no receipts for the meals we could not get a new meal or a refund. I showed banking receipts but that didnt count it had to be an inhouse receipt. They also advertise carlton draught out the front but do not serve it.Absolute scam of a pub. I will never go back.

Popped in while out for a drive, it was a Sunday. Every table had a reserved sign up (apparently this is something they do all the time we were told by a regular patron), they actually had no reservations. Lady behind the counter asked if we had booked (looking down at her blank booking form) clearly we had just dropped in, we were then seated at a reserved table. Went to order the food, was told sorry we are not taking bookings just now you will have to wait as the chef is busy (hmmmm given no indication of how long the wait would be). We would have left there and then had we not ordered drinks (sorry only a bottle of bubbly not sold in single glasses) really !!!!. Eventually we were served, meals were way too big for lunchtime, bit overpriced. All in all we will never go back or recommend it. Who's idea in a small holiday area is it to harass customers to book when most are passing through and to put reserved on ea table when they are not, its just weird !!! There were a few people who left, some saw all the reserved tables and walked back out, hospitality industry (I dont think so). They must be losing a lot of customers. Dont go there people, keep driving, many nice friendly places not far.

If I had my choice this would be zero stars! We got there without a reservation about 7.10pm. After much umming and ahhing and looking at a half empty eatery, we we were shown a table. We ordered our meals and waited. By 8.10pm we called the waitress over to see where our meals were (3 dishes).Without apology or real explanation, we were told our meals would be ready soon and that accidents happen. After 10 minutes, as we quietly waited, we were on our phones when the Manager came over and accused us of posting a bad review on Social media (which we weren't.He then stormed off and said here's your money. Go!"Whilst this would be a funny scene out of Faulty Towers

Absolute tip of a joint. Would love to rate the food but unfortunately we were told they were fully booked when we arrived and turned away. (empty tables everywhere and we even rang in advance and were told to come in.)

Good service, good food, clean glasses, clean cutlery. Six of us all enjoyed our meals std pub fare, parma very good, Neptune was great but to much for mother in law, Flake was fresh and consumed in record time by father in law, rock flathead was described as Tassie fresh by wife, and bro in law enjoyed his calamari. Entree Prawn cutlets and garlic bread also enjoyed. Nice Wine was available at not extortionate prices. Worth a visit, pride in what's presented to customers.

Nice place and beautiful town. Fish was quite nice but the chips were cold and served with a ‘vegetable slop’ that cost $4 extra (not told this though by the young waitress). Meals came out extremely quick, too quick to be a good thing. Meals are overpriced for what the are. Has potential but not blown away at all. Beer was super cold and lovely!

Very friendly staff and pretty filling pizza. Authentic country style treatment. They were even open on a public holiday which saved us after a decent ride from Fish Creek on the trail.

Had a wonderful meal tonight. Service was great! Very homely comfortable environment. Would recommend and will be definitely back soon. Always a great night when you walk in to a smiling friendly bar tender.

So this pub was down the road for the caravan park we stayed at and the bar section has a great wall of trophy fish which was impressive for us considering we were there to fish and two brand new pool tales. We sat outside and the barman (LEGEND) offered us inspect spray which worked like magic from the horse flys and mossies. I ordered a scotch Streak with mushroom sauce which was cooked perfectly and quiet a large portion of salad and chips. Definitely will be back for the next trip.
