This is the second time we went to this place as our first experience was nice. The service was pretty good. However it was a bit of let down this time.For its quality, the food is overpriced. The sashimi was fresh but not nicely cut and it’s just your ordinary fish selection. The beef was cooked nicely however there was only 4 pieces in that dish. The duck skewer was nice but nothing special with that price tag. Food is not bad but overpriced.

Went here with my cousin who wanted to give this place a shot. Got to say, I really loved the atmosphere even from the outside. Dark and moody with a dimly lit bar, this would be a great place to go if you were taking a date. The staff were also extremely friendly and attentive.However, I personally thought that the food was pretty mid, especially relative to the pricepoint. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but just not for how expensive it all was. As a result, I'd recommend you come here if you weren't too worried about spending quite a bit, but otherwise I'd personally stick to more local and lower-end Japanese joints that also do the job just as well.

The service and food was outstanding. So far above what you expect from small local restaurant. We had a good cross section from the menu and it was all a taste sensation. The welcome and personalised service was a treat and you’re left feeling like you are popular and cherished guests. Very highly recommended. And just as an added bonus, the ladies bathroom is fabulous.

Wow, hidden gem. This restaurant is a bit of a ways out, tucked away at Rosebery; but it's worth the journey.We went during lunch last month. The service was very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is okay, they do what they can with the decor. Yet, the food is seriously delicious. The stand ours were the sublime nigiri and delicious desserts. Want to go back just for their beautiful nigiri! The beer icecream is also a tasty must try!

Staff were attentive, and the food is amazing. The restaurant decor is really nice and there is a fancy feel about the place to match the food. Modern Japanese at its finest. The beer ice cream seems weird but actually tasted amazing. The best agadashi tofu I have had in years. So crispy and refined. Everything else hit the spot. Will be back again!

Portions for the lunch set were on the smaller side but considering each set is only slightly over $20AUD, it is acceptable.The sashimi platter had a diverse selection and was very fresh.Staff were very polite and helpful and the decor of the restaurant was very pleasant.Overall a good experience, would not mind visiting again in the future.

An absolutely lovely place to dine with your partner or friend. It has an intimate setting with the dim lighting, and cozy seating arrangement.The food here was amazing, the sushi was fresh and sweet. Expensive but sooo damn goooood!We had the sashimi platter, edamame, duck, wagyu steak, beer icecream and creme brulee. A bit too much for 2 people. We were extremely full after.The duck dish and beer icecream were very memorable - will definitely come back for it and to also try out other dishes.Feedback to business:Please let customers know that still or sparkling water is not free.TIP: just opt for tap water. We paid $6 per bottle of still water (we had 3 already before we realized it wasn't free!)
