Beautiful views from the top of the hill. Some steep sections of path so bring some sturdy shoes if your going to the top of Mt Arawang.

Cooleman Ridge Nature Track
Best place in the world. I walk my dog here most days. On the other side you leave the city behind and the river valley and mountains beyond inspire you. I love this place.

Beautiful place for a walk. Lots of trails, some of which are part of the Bicentennial Trail.Not too steep, so can be handled by walkers of most abilities . Stunning sweeping views of the Brindabella Ranges. Dogs on leash (but most people leave their dogs off until they near other walkers). Great for bikes and horses too.

One of our favourite walks... Wonderful views to the north and south if you walk up and around Mt Arawang.

Cooleman Ridge Nature Track
Great views of Canberra on the northern track. Great views of the Brindebella ranges from the trails on the south side of the ridge. Good for both walks, runs and bikes. There are steps to the two peaks.The fire trails along both the north and south side isn't too challenging, with the exception of a couple of short steep sections.If you go around dusk you will see plenty of kangaroos. There are often cows and horses along the south side of the ridge.

Canberra has so many great trails for walking and bird watching. Bower Birds, big boulders and views the highlights.
