The Grand Bar
Visited this venue in the past and was appalled by the service but I decided to give it another chance. Met this lovely young gentleman named Meet who was very helpful and patient with me and my wife and ensured our expectations were met while being served. It was obvious he is a very hard working young man who enjoys his job and helping others. Really glad to see this place up to the standards it should be and it’s because of employees like him and the friendly staff at the grand bar. Would visit again to drink and eat. Food was also great

Location! Can’t get any better if you want to enjoy one of the best sunset while sipping on your favourite drink on one of the best cosmopolitan beach Glenelg, SA. However, in terms of food, quality, presentation, portion size and taste is below average. In fact food presentation was depressing and it appears menu was chosen based on profit rather than anything else. The service was good, food came out pretty quick. The team was friendly, clean toilets, plenty of drinks to choose from. I would recommend if you are going for few drinks and enjoy the picturesque view. Families with kids can sit outside and watch kids run around in the park whilst enjoying the view.

The food is delicious. The environment is also good. Sitting outside, we can see the square, jetty and beach of Glenelg.

Popped in for lunch and the whole family was really happy! All the meals were large, well cooked and had heaps of flavor!We popped in as a family after a morning walking around Glenelg. Staff were very helpful, assisting us with a minor menu change to accommodate allergies. I was driving, but noticed they had espresso martinis on tap; they were even kind enough to let me have a small try!One of the standout features is the locations and views back over the beach.Meals were average pub prices and very reasonable!Would certainly recommend this spot and coming here again!

Whilst in Adelaide for a few hours we made the unfortunate decision to come here. The food was a disgrace. A $32 steak sandwich was just an overcooked piece of rubbery steak with some onion jam and lettuce. No effort to make it tasty but just to make it cheap. My friend had a schnitzel which was overcooked as well. She ordered pepper sauce and her word to describe it was disgusting".The pink haired waitress behind the bar had an attitude problem and couldn't muster a smile for either of us. We were made to feel we were interrupting her when we tried to order. The menus were dirty and torn and the place itself felt dingy and run downAir con would also have been nice on a hot day.I am not one to usually leave a bad review but I walked out of here feeling like I had overpaid my money to eat terrible food and be treated badly by the staff. Avoid this place if you are travelling to Adelaide."

The Grand Bar was a nice place to have a drink. Unfortunately, we sat on the side windows, so there was no view of the beach. But still good. The staff were very friendly too

Great spot to sit to have a drink & watch the sunset whilst also observing what’s going on around the place - with a live band playing. I wouldn’t recommend the espresso martini on tap, was terrible & my husband was served a bourbon & coke in a latte glass - not sure what happened there?!? I gave 3 stars for the view & entertainment.

A great spot overlooking the pier and the water.. had some reasonably priced drinks and dinner tasty food on a windy, sunny day. Definitely somewhere to stop by and enjoy the views and hospitality
