Blue Knot Foundation
Any time I have rung Blue Knot (ASCA) I have only found a person on the other end of the phone, 100% caring, empathic, supportive, gentle and very intuitive. Today's phone call was no exception. I am so thankful for the gentle soul who allowed me to express my pain and validated who I am and what I have experienced.*Update: they now only offer 30 min calls, not an hour, so you have to end the call while still distressed! No longer really helpful. Ring Lifeline.

My friend told me about her experience with this organisation, and asked me to try it. She is right, unable to get through. I am also concerned that organisations like this are being awful to the people they are supposed to be helping. Not cool

I was looking for a referral for a practitioner who dealt with/ had substantial experience on severe long term abuse. I was actually sent an email saying sorry Blue Knot could not help". I think I may have made the counselor uncomfortable. Very hard topics to discuss at any level. Anyway I soon after received another email with some contact names. It is extremely hard to be able to cover the needs of such a diverse population

An amazing team that has been really supportive in the last 24 months. They are a small team but are well informed & knowlegable on complex trauma history. Definitely recommended.. although they are quite busy since around the end of 2020, you would expect to get a call back within 24 hours!

I don't know how I would have continued with what I was trying to achieve without the help of the staff especially Jade who has been worth her weight in gold. (If I am allowed to say that)

Blue Knot provided two training programs to myself and my colleagues at Flourish Australia and I can’t recommend them enough. They were very professional, knowledgable and approachable throughout the training. As somebody with a lived experience of trauma, I also feel like they spoke about others with a lived experience with the utmost respect and compassion. I’ll definitely be referring the people I support to Blue Knot in future.

Lots of good info about complex trauma. I was diagnosed with this a few years ago. Sadly I also have a few comorbid issues as a result of cptsd, but that another story.I'm greatful for any information on this subject.Thanks
