Had an appointment for a dyno run. When i got there only to be told their equipment had failed since the day before. Instead of checking their appointments and letting the customer know (myself) in order to re book , i instead ended up going there for nothing. Needless to say i did not go back again. The first thing you check is to inform your customers. The place does not look very appealing either entering what one could only describe as a run down derelec office. Not a good nor professional expression.

I took my weekend Mustang to Steven for a small job that was done quick and with no issues. He then took my aging V8 Ford efi that has always run like a hairy dog and after he was finished the bloody thing ran smooth, grab another 15hp and the fuel economy got a little better. I could not be any happier.His workshop is now my favourite place to take my cars. Mechanical, Dyno, engine building and emission testing.John

I've been going to Steve Bell for years now, maybe 15 or more, even well before he ended up in Prospect, and I've always found his services to be excellent and thorough and his service very accommodating and welcoming. I cannot recommend him enough.

Great dyno facilities. I've been to a few in the past for my open wheeler race car but this one was definitely the best. You can tell it's well looked after and calibrated correctly. The owner really knows his stuff also and spends the time explaining what's happening.

I took my Chevy in to see Bell's Autos and he did a diagnostic on it and did a dino on the car and was very reasonable. He did an impeccable job too.

Do not go to this mechanic.I took my car to be serviced here and he didn't do a thing. He ran a diagnostic on it, showed me the passes and fails, didn't ask if I wanted to get the problems fixed and charged me a fortune. I took my car to a different mechanic a week later because a problem that should have been picked up in a regular service and he confirmed that the oil and filter hadn't been changed (he kept the old filter and oil to show me), none of the fluids had been changed and nothing had been done.
