When it was time to sell the property we bought off him, he was the first person on our minds to go and help with our sale. George had done a fantastic job and helped us get the price we wanted, even in a market that was declining ! My mother purchased a property through Buxton Glen Waverley which was in Hawthorn East unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.Correspondence and follow up with the agency was poor.There was no reminder to organise final inspection.After the property settlement, I contacted the Camberwell office to inquire about the key. They initially informed me that the key was at Mt Waverley and promised to call back with an update on when it would be available at the Camberwell office. However, no follow-up call was received. When we raised our concerns to the conveyancer, they advised us to call Buxton again. After the conveyancer contacted the agency, they informed us that the key was at Mt Waverley and would be dropped off at Camberwell, with the office contacting us when it was ready for pickup.Despite this, we did not receive any call from Buxton Camberwell. Two days later, I called the office and was informed that the key was already there. This lack of communication was frustrating and disappointing.Moreover, the agent in charge of the sale promised a larger complimentary gift because the owner of the property had not mowed the grass as settlement was 3 moths the grass was some what overgrown in this time, there was no complimentary gift received for the sale of this property. This further added to our disappointment with the level of service provided by Buxton Glen Waverley. While we were able to complete the purchase, the experience was not satisfactory, and we would hesitate to recommend them to others.
