Meryl was so amazing - after having legally married last year in Sept my husband and I weren't sure what would happened with wedding 2.0. But Meryl worked with us to make the event feel like it was the first time. We called it an affirmation" and even signed an affirmation certificate

I honestly am still a bit sad till this day that we rushed our decision from a phone call with her and chose Meryl as our celebrant and can't say we were happy with the way we were treated by her whatsoever. The amount of effort on her side was very minimal and honestly not worth the money we paid. She was a completley different person on the phone as when we met her, quite cold and standoffish and just not really what you would expect someone who works in this field to be like. The ceremony itself was alright and nothing wrong with it but the way she spoke to our family and ordering my son in law around to carry her belongings without as much as a please or thank you was quite rude and then the most disrespectful part of it all was how till this day (wedding was in march) she downright refused to send us the photos she insisted on taking of us on that day. I found it confusing that she wouldn't take the 2 mins it takes to send over some photos and messaged her. She never got back to me but instead messaged my husband calling me impatient" and sent 2 more messages stating that she would send them later while making up more excuses why she wasn't able to take a minute to send a handful of photos we would have loved to have. She obviously doesnt do this professionally and I can just speak from our experience that if you want perfect and want to feel like you matter to your celebrant

Meryl was just so delightful from the moment we met her. She made everything a breeze to organise and helped us to individulise our special day with ease (cause we disnt have much direction ourselves in the beginning haha). She was also very accommodating with the changes of date due to covid restrictions which also helped to relieve any concerns for us. Her service was beautiful and she just felt like one of the family. Thank you so much for everything Meryl.

We had the pleasure of using Meryl Mc Ginn services for our wedding in December 2022. From the first moment we met Meryl, we knew she was perfect her professionalism, caring, nurturing nature made the whole process less stressful. I remember the moment I arrived at the ceremony she greeted me at the car, she knew I was nervous but she reassured me everything was okay and enjoy the moment.
