OZ Design Furniture Penrith

Purchased a coffee table worth $1200 and upon opening the product the marble contained large brown stains that looks like rust. The product was also delayed by 3 weeks. The customer support team only communicates via email and has essentially claimed that the brown stains are natural and refuse a refund or store credit. I would have been happy to replace the item with another item in their store instead of a refund however after observing the way the complaint team handles their enquiries I'll give the business to another company.

Great service, delivery and product!

Terrible 'customer service'. Was told ~6 weeks for some items. We paid our deposit in good faith on the basis of the verbal advice. When we went to check at about week 4, were told it would be 11 weeks minimum and that it was on the docket. We did not check the docket, trusting what we were told. I pointed out that we could not have checked the docket before we paid the deposit anyway because quite obviously we had no docket to check. No apologies and told we will lose 30% if we cancel. And now for the best bit, I was told 'well you shouldn't rely on what we tell you' - are they cracking jokes? They may need a crash course in consumer law. It appears looking at other reviews for this store that they do indeed have a credibility problem that they clearly have not addressed. Advice from me - if you do need something from this store - GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE YOU HAND OVER YOUR CASH, they themselves say you should not take their word.

Great shop with a good variety of quality products.

Great furniture and great customer service - to a point. Make sure you get any and all promises in writing.My husband wasted his day off and to be treated differentially by staff and was told the delivery would be free as compensation for the poor customer service from Penrith staff who was dismissive, non-apologetic and unhelpful but now they have reneged on this offer.We were told the delivery fee would be refunded is because the staff member was rude. Even when the customer she was dealing with asked her to attend to my husband because they would be a while she said casually, without even consulting my husband, that “he’d be right”. There was no enquiry is he was in a hurry, if he needed to be anywhere else or if there were children in the car.It is highly unlikely that two people would misinterpret the offer of free delivery. A delivery fee is nothing to such a large company and means everything for a customer service reputation. For a large corporation to not honour the promises made is disappointing and frustrating. This is very poor customer service on Oz Design’s part which is a shame considering up until this point it has been excellent.

The woman that works there on a Sunday is so rude. Looked down her nose at me, asked me to wait for ten minutes because she was too busy to help me and then walked off without serving me and had another staff member come to let me know she wouldn’t be helping me. Worst customer service experience ever!! Won’t be returning.

Purchased a coffee table that I waited 6 weeks for ( they delayed it by another 3 weeks), the table had an arms length of water damage disgusting brown stain across the white table. Not only is it damaged, but the packaging and table stinks. We contacted 3 different people to finally get told to email the pictures to customer care. Customer care was unapologetic and refuses to replace or refund saying that it's apparently normal. We agree marble tables vary to others but should NOT have a big brown stain across the table. Very unhappy and will be going to fair trading as the refuse to resolve this for me.

Not a lot of range and very expensive

Marvi and Marleen is awesome great to deal with! Definitely will be back for more! Got a 3 seater and 2 seater! Top notch service!
