Shawn was responsible for the sale of a property I rented located in 2135. Back in October as the advertisement was online for a week, the property was broken into and $2000 worth of my equipment was stolen - there is an open police investigation relating to this incident. The reason they were able to get in so easily was because of a poorly designed one-way locked door, which is only locked from the tenants side - not his fault but worth mentioning.However, upon further investigation I had found that after his open inspections he carelessly left without closing the blinds fully which allowed this curious thief to scout the location and ultimately decide to break in. I have no way of knowing if this person had inspected the place as Shawn claims no one attended - BUT the Forensics Team found footprints and fingerprints inside the property not belonging to me, so you do the math.When I threatened legal action with this circumstantial evidence, Shawn called me to tell me he was angry and dismissing all responsibility. When I told him about the severity of getting robbed he had the audacity to LAUGH and suggested I was lying. This frustrating phone call lasted 45 mins and was back and forth dismissing everything I put forward. When I pressured him to be specific with his thoughts all he could say was I don't know" or "that's just your opinion". There was some shallow talk about paying me back once the police report was completed but when I told him to put this in writing he simply laughed again and said "Why should I?". Seriously

While studying at Macquarie University, I chose to rent the Epping Property of GPP Group. GPP Group has a good service attitude, and Shawn is also very considerate to help us with daily life services.

As a newcomer, GPP was my first agent in Sydney. To be fair, their service seems to me to be good enough compared to some agencies I know in Melbourne. Shawn is a friendly and principled person. He helped me to rent the apartment I wanted and signed contract within 2 days, effectively eased my dilemma.True, GPP is a small company and there are some things that are not comprehensive. Sometimes my rent was transferred on time, but occasionally it was in the wee hours of the morning, so their system might not catch it and still send me a warning email. But it doesn't matter. They will reconfirm whether the money has received or not. Also,during my stay, I did not damage anything in the room that needed immediate treatment. First of all, I had already made sure that I was not responsible for any inherent damage before I checked in. Second, I was careful enough when I used it. Even if there was a problem, I was capable of trying to deal with it, rather than complaining that the person could not give me an immediate response.After reading the comments, I want to say that we need to empathize with each other. Buying, selling and renting is a procedural service, not ask for a nanny to babysit ourselves.

Jacky is the most disrespectful agent I have ever come across in my entire life. If you are looking to rent, do not bother with him. His attitude was atrocious and he said I was ‘too late’ for a property and hung up right after. Disgusting attitude, never again

We have just leased a place thru shawn cheng & the team at the office its taken 12 mths of us seaching to get a place back up that way yes it was the quickest & smoothest rental dealing i have ever experienced, we had it all done in a day, & they have to date been very helpful so have no complaints but am concerned with all the bad reviews, as this is a big move for us & alot of organizing as we live on the south coast. But i can assure you that if we get screwed over we will be their worst nightmare they would be playing games with the wrong family here let me say so im hoping it keeps rolling well
