Very outdated needs to come up to the 2020 times. Lots of things missing no tea towels hand towels , salt and pepper empty , toilet leaking, a front screen door would be nice to leave open. Should have listed items we should have bought not self contained. No oven , no barbecue facility. For the cost very inadequate. Needs a good revamp old bathroom . No garden view as advertised met no owner couldn’t find anyone.

We had a booking at Goldberry accommodation for 2 nights but only managed to stay one. Started off fine, meeting the owner who was very friendly and welcoming, who even turned our heater on prior to our arrival, but unfortunately that was about the only positive experience we had. We entered to what seemed to be a pretty newly built room, however all that was in the room were 2 very ancient antique chairs thst were too uncomfortable to sit in, with a tiny, tiny table, (I would say 50cm squared) that was clearly a hand me down from somebody's house. Also there was a very old dusty couch that we couldn't even sit on due to the mothball smell. The room was big enough for a family of 4 but had literally nowhere to sit and eat a meal, and was very unpleasant to be in. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were the cheapest flattest ones they could've found that may as well just been an empty pillowcase. We had a very bad night sleep and we had to check out a day early, and waste $250. I don't normally like leaving reviews that can hurt somebody's business, but in this case I just don't think it's fair to charge this price for a room, that the owners have just lazily furnished with old junk from the op-shop, with not even 1 ornament, a picture on the wall, or just anything to make it feel a little homley instead of like sleeping in a prison cell. Let the photos speak for themselves. We have now booked a room down the road which is cheaper and absolutely fantastic. I really don't recommend wasting your money at goldberry accommodation.A simple refurnish with even cheap ikea furniture, and even add WiFi would make a world of difference, according to majority of the reviews.

Centrally located. Affordable 2 bedroom accommodation. Lovely setting and nice linen on comfortable beds.

Clean, good value.Room has fridge and ates for a quick snack.Very good. Will go back.

Lovely, quiet, well-appointed accommodation. Central location means you can walk to most places in town.Photo's show where entrance is located: inbetween bridge & roundabout.
