Officeworks North Lakes

I was making mistakes using the self serve but with Jane's help I feel more comfortable for the next time. Love old fashion service and I was shown that in spades. Thanks Jane.

Extremely rude staff member called Katherine works there and is the reason for this 1 star review. I was apalled by how I was spoken to and treated. It's a shame because some of the other staff are nice (notice I used the word 'some' not all).Edit: just looked at some of the other reviews. Plenty of people saying the same thing! If I was the owner of that store I'd be having a word to the middle aged women working there (the guys seem to be mostly ok from my experience). Also found it funny that one of the reviews mentioned the same things I experienced - the two middle aged women chatting ignoring customers, giving eye rolls etc...

If I could give 0 stars I would.I asked for something to be printed which I had done the previous week by another officeworks store no problem at all and after waiting in line and I was the last customer in the line so no one behind me, he said I would have to book this job in and he could not print one page for me from a file I already had ready and do what they did the week before which took a few minutes. I argued and he refused again and again.The service was appalling at Nth lakes.*update 3/3/23 phoned ahead to Strathpine officeworks to find out if I would have the same issue and Owen was awesome and said there was absolutely no need to book a service time with them and to come straight in and they would do what I needed.Sadly I feel the staff member at north lakes had a god complex because why else would he turn me away when there was no one else waiting to be served.

Excellent service from Talei in print section. She goes above and beyond to help the customers. Definitely a shining star in your team.

Terrible when it comes to printing services. Last time my wait time to collect printing (preordered) was an hour, I put it down to a bad day. But again this time it was 30 minutes with only one person being served in that time and 3 others waiting.The young girl at the counter was fantastic, she was doing her absolute best to handle customer trouble shooting, photos, lamination, and the photo kiosks so this doesn’t apply to her.But when you see two middle-age women just shooting the sh*t in the printing area behind her, doing nothing to help move the queue and not bothering to ask customers if they are just collecting, it’s beyond a joke. These women acted completely unwilling to help the young lady on the counter, and were too concerned about doing their own things and chatting instead of working as a team. These lady even rolled their eyes at the young girl who asked them a product question. Totally uncool and unprofessional.

They were amazing! It was busy today, but it looked like they had everything under control. It was organised and not chaotic, and they were so kind and helpful.The girl at the entrance was professional and helpful to everyone who came whilst able to coordinate the employees in the store.

Awesome customer service from the two young blonde haired twin girls (sorry I didn't catch their names) store was super busy with back to school and so much effort was made both on the floor and behind the cash register. Very sweet girls and very helpful

I remember coming here with my family years ago and getting lots of good stationery. I remember places where you can just play around writing with pens. I find it quite pleasant and affordable :) :)

Every time I have gone here I have received no service at all. I came today to look for a computer monitor and made it clear I needed help but nobody came. Another time I came to look for an iPad for university and the same situation happened. It is your own loss though as the good guys were much more accommodating and have received both sales. I do not intend to come back here.
