Amazing menu with an inventive and enthusiastic chef. We flew in from the outback today to a plethora of amazing offerings and tastes. I am truly sad we are only here one night - there is a 3 seafoods plate that sounds nothing short of astoundingly good. The tasting platter we had as our starter is just fantastic and the cocktails are inspired! We want to spend a recuperating weekend here at some stage while on offswing and attempt to eat our way through the extensive menu! You guys are great.

I’m usually pretty lenient but every single time I’ve eaten here we’ve had to wait ages to order, ages to receive drinks, ages to receive food then almost never had a waiter ask if we wanted another round of drinks.Tonight we went for a bday dins; 7 of us arrived at 7pm booking - 7.40 rolled around and not one waiter had asked to take a drinks order or food order. They did pass by asking to take our menus off us. We mentioned we hadn’t ordered yet but they didn’t seem to care. I get everywhere is understaffed but every single other restaurant in Kalgoorlie has such good quick service.For such a high price it’s not justifiable the lack of service.I got palace trio which comes w pork belly (usually crispy) and this time the skin was the absolute FURTHEST thing from crispy, they didn’t even try crisp it up.Ps. This isn’t to fault the wait staff, they’re always friendly and trying their best but I feel like it’s either an understaffing issue/bad management/greed

We love this place, great vibes and outlook. This time we had two Thai beef salads and a pork belly which melted in your mouth. The presentation and flavours were to die for! Compliments to the Chef Kevin for another amazing meal!

The most beautiful food one could ever wish for. I visited there a couple of years ago when last in Kalgoorlie and they haven't lost their touch. Just perfect.

Food was fantastic. Pork belly was accompanied with lots of things that 'fitted' with the flavours. 10/10. My brother had garlic prawns and raved over them. The only downside is they sat us next to a large table of people and it was really noisy.

First visit to balcony restaurant for a farewell dinner. Had their Japanese pork & ramen noodle soup. The meal was great. And the staff were excellent in their customer service. Whenever you find yourself in Kalgoorlie, visit this joint for your own unique experience. Kudos to the team at the balcony restaurant.

Wonderfully cooked meat and flavourful sauce on the Palace Trio and sticky date pudding was delicious and warm with a rich butterscotch sauce.
