Loved the food here for years but lately it's gone too far downhill to use again. Think three lumps of tough beef in a massamon, think three slivers of chicken in a pad see ew. All delivered an hour later than first indicated by Menulog.Won't order again.

Got takeaway one night while staying at the caravan park, two vegetarian dishes, both with tofu and both absolutely delicious, especially the green curry. The price is incredibly reasonable, too! Note that there's no parking right in front, so you'll probably want to park across the street. Highly recommend.

We love this place. The food is amazing. It can get loud when it is busy as there is no sound proofing. Great view of the lake. The staff are nice but could be more attentive.

Rice and Lake Thai Restaurant
Fantastic location with lovely intimate and atmospheric outdoor dining area at the rear. All of the food I have had here on numerous visits has been fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly, responsive and eager to make the experience a good one. Definately the best Thai food in the area, having tried multiple different resturants as a local resident. If I want to dine in, it's a great experience and if I want takeaway/delivery it's always lightning fast with their own delivey crew.

Quality Thai restaurant with a great view of the lake. Staff are super helpful, we love their food. Would definitely recommend.Update: We have been a regular since our first visit. This restaurant continues to get better and better. Without a doubt, It's the best Thai food I've had in Sydney. Staff are lovely and greet you with a smile. Food is perfect and ingredients fresh. Highly recommended as always.

We have visited twice, first time was good, nice food and friendly service, second visit they seemed to forget about our mains, it was busy but we waited well over an hour which was way too long, leaving us quite hungry, disappointed and sort of spoilt the whole experience. Good food though.

Really impressed with the quality of food. The grilled pork skewers were lovely for a starter snack, followed by Jungle Curry (Kingfish) and Massaman beef. The jungle curry was nice though it could have been a little spicier. It was good to see a fish dish with something other than basa :) The beef was decadent with large chunks of beef floating in a rich creamy sauce.Its more expensive than your average Thai but the quality of the ingredients more than make up for this. Looking forward to going back!

Terrible Experience - I recently had a social gathering at this restaurant and it was a huge disappointment. We were left waiting for an extremely long time, with no updates or attention from the staff. Half an hour passed and not a single item on our order had even been cooked. This was unacceptable and we left without even spending a cent.The waiting time was too long and the lack of communication from the staff was frustrating. It was a complete waste of time. We expected better and were left deeply disappointed by the poor service and overall experience.I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially not for a special occasion. The staff clearly lacks the organization and efficiency needed to provide a good dining experience. If you're looking for a good meal, I would suggest you look elsewhere. It needs to seriously reconsider their approach to customer service and make the necessary improvements to ensure that guests are not left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
