Red Jade Restaurant
Quite a disappointing experience. One of the four dishes we ordered was entirely inedible. That was lemon duck - only after it was brought to the table were we informed that it was deep fried. It looked as if someone had taken the whole duck, deep fried it until it was unrecognisable, then ran it through a band saw and slathered lemon sauce on it. It was in such a state that you couldn't tell the consistency of the meat from the consistency of the bones. Both were crumbly and dry. Other dishes were marginally better but still awful. Chicken was slippery and slimy, as were the vegetables. Fried rice was dry. I wouldn't complain if I'd paid $10 for a dish from a Chinese takeaway and it was like this but at over $80 for two people I was expecting something better. Don't think I'll be going back.

Very disappointing...Ordered beef rendang, Vietnamese ginger and lemon grass chicken and CRISPY skin lemon chicken. Because the sauce was on the chicken it was very soggy, and everything was full of bones, unlike any lemon chicken we have ever had. The rendang was pale and also tasted nothing like a rendang.$50 wasted.I saw there was a Thai dish and chips on the menu also. Too many different cuisine's... should focus on getting the Chinese right...

Red Jade is the best Chinese restaurant in the south east. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent, both eat in and delivery. Highly recommend the salt and pepper eggplant and the omelettes and my partner loves the Szechuan chicken and spring rolls. We get delivery at least once a month.

We ordered some takeaway and there's minimal wait (10-15 minutes) if you opt for pick-up.We were surprised the lemon chicken came in little pieces (honey chicken style) rather than a whole fillet battered and sliced like other places. The sauce was also a bit weak with not much lemon flavour.The dry fried beef rice noodles have good char and wok hei, and the beef is tender, however the noodles did stick together a little.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Been getting takeway and eating in here off and on for almost a year now. Just had a huge family eat in dinner here. Still so tasty. Honey chilli beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour pork, Singapore noodles, the absolutely lovely satay chicken sticks for entree to name a few dishes - all yummy. Best customer service as well. Always so friendly. Old style restaurant which I personally love. A must try.

Great old school Chinese restaurant. If you want to go back in time to the 1980-90s and have your old time Chinese favourites this is the place to go. The food was tasty and the vegetables are some of the freshest you will find. There is plenty of space in the restaurant so you are not sitting on top of each other. Pricing is very reasonable also.

Mouthwatering food and amazing service. Would definitely recommend the laksa. Our waiter (I think his name was Derek?) was extremely nice and gave great recommendations. Would totally come again!!

Ordered take away. Have been a customer for over 25 years when Doreen owned it. Hokkein noodles were very ordinary. Chicken skewers were miniscule and the suggestion of pork in plum sauce was deep fried and extremely fatty. Very disappointed with taste and not deservant of $50.50 cost.
