Poet's Cottage Stanley
Beautifully restored, well equipped & conveniently situated, heritage listed Poet's Cottage is the perfect weekend get-away. Located in historic Stanley, the walks along the beach, through the picturesque village & up the Nut, will delight the weekend visitor. Explore the early 1800's fully restored Highfield House to fully immerse oneself in early Australian history. Don't miss a trip to the local market & end the days with drinks at the eclectic Wine Bar, beside a cosy fire. The warmth, hospitality and immense local knowledge of your hosts, Dave & Gerry, will ensure that you enjoy every minute of your stay in this delightful village. We will definitely be back!!

Poet's Cottage Stanley
The perfect accomodation for our stay in Stanley. This heritage listed cottage had all the charm of a period home with modern facilities to make our stay easy and comfortable. From the ensuite bathroom to to the stunning room interior, this accomodation felt like home away from home.Looking out from the house you get a gorgeous view of the water, plus the convenient location made it easy to go into town to pick up supplies and check out the local shopsWe loved our stay in Stanley made all the better by our fabulous hosts Dave and Gerry who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again!

Poet's Cottage Stanley
Staying at Poet’s Cottage was by far the best B&B experience we’ve had.From the bright spacious kitchen to the cosy relaxing lounge, each room is a delightful blend of traditional charm and modern features.The cottage’s proximity to the town of Stanley’s shops, cafes, bars, beach, and of course, The Nut, made for a fun weekend exploring the area and its history.Our amazing hosts Dave and Gerry made us feel so welcome - we’ll definitely stay there again!
