Excellent service. I mentioned I was going out after my appointment so Nickita styled my hair glam instead of my usual blow dry.

Great hairdressers owned by the gorgeous Sue. I have been going here for years and always get comments on my hair and asked where I get my hair cut. Highly recommend.

Always thorough. They have endless patience for my exceptionally long hair and long hiatus between foil sessions.I’m sure it truly tests their temperament but I always feel welcome and valued.Been going here for years now, and every time I’ve let another salon touch my hair (when I’ve been overseas and it couldn’t be helped...) I have felt every bit of regret.They’re not scissor-happy like some places. They listen if you insist you don’t want too much cut off.Highly recommend to anyone who wants fabulous hair.They also use Kevin Murphy products which I adore.

The hair dresser didn't listen to me and cut 3 times the amount off in a straight cut with no layers even though i had layers to begin with. However they allowed me to only pay for my colour when i asked to. Still this was the worst experience i have had at a hair dressers, and i still hate the look of my hair cut 3 months on now (still waiting for it to grow)

The service was really good and they coloured my hair to the style that I wanted. They listened and gave me feedback on what I wanted, responded really well. I highly recommend coming to this hair salon

Absolutely love this place! Was lucky to discover Barbarella after a number of misfortunes with dying and cutting my hair with the other hair salons and have stayed with them for all my 3 years while staying in Melbourne. I would travel from St Kilda to Fitzroy once a month just because of them.The staff is always very friendly and professional. They are masters in what they do and I always leave their place in a good mood and with beautiful hair.

Barbarella fit me in shortly after I walked past and took a chunk of weight out of my short hairstyle, making it far more sleek and flattering. They then fit my Mum in immediately after me for a buzz cut. We’re both feeling fresh, and I will be keen to come back.
